Dorothy Mae Kids Academy

We absolutely love Dorothy Mae Kids Academy! My 3-year-old son has been attending for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education he’s receiving. He adores his teachers! They are kind, patient, and truly dedicated to each child’s growth and happiness. He is thriving in their well-rounded curriculum, and we’ve seen such wonderful progress in his developmental skills. Every week, he comes home excited to tell us about the fun, creative activities and adorable crafts he’s made. It’s clear the staff put so much thought and love into what they do. We feel so grateful to have found a daycare where our son is happy, engaged, and growing every single day. Highly recommend Dorothy Mae Kids Academy to any family looking for a nurturing and inspiring place for their little one!

Absolutely love our daycare! All of our teachers have been great and they do so many activities with the kids. Even in the infant room, the kiddos are constantly entertained, doing crafts, activities, water days, shaved ice in the summers… so much more! Super clean and organized. We are never missing clothes or items and they keep you in the know throughout the day through the app. I love How much fun my kids have going to Dorothy Mae and how much they love their teachers. We are so grateful!

We absolutely love DMKA — and so do our kids (19 months and 3 years)! The teachers are amazing, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the kids and enjoy what they do. Other staff members know and engage with our kids too, which gives the whole center a warm, in-home feel. We especially appreciate how responsive the teachers, director, and assistant director are. They send lots of pictures throughout the day so we can see just how much fun our kids are having! The lesson plans are creative, the activities are fun and engaging, and our kids spend tons of time outside — which is very important to our family. The center is always clean and well-maintained, and there’s a clear sense of pride in what they do. The director and assistant director are super involved in every classroom, and the owners are present and hands-on, which really sets this place apart. We drive all the way from the Norwalk area just to come here — that’s how much we love it!

We have two kids at Dorothy Mae, and they both love it. My son used to cry at drop off at a previous daycare, once we switched here, that stopped. The teachers are amazing and they have very low turnover. They have water days in the summer and a great curriculum for the kiddos. Recommend to all!

We have had a great experience at DMKA! We have experienced the 2 year old class all the way up to preschool. The lesson plans and activities are unique and fun. Our oldest has had great prep for Kindergarten. We would highly recommend this center.
