My 3.5 year old daughter has been at DOT Tot since she was 6 months old. We have had nothing but good experiences. I picked this center for several reasons including the preference to state employees, providing health insurance to teachers, and staff longevity. My daughter is excited to go and always in a great mood when we pick her up.

My 18-month old son has been at DOT Tot since he was 7 months, and we love it. The director and staff are excellent and consistent–two of the three teachers in his room have been with DOT Tot for 40+ years. The vibe of DOT Tot is calm, experienced, and caring. The facility is not shiny new and sparkling, and the food is not organic, but my son is so, so happy to be there every day, and I am so happy to have a childcare center that I trust entirely. This is the place for you if you are a working parent who wants the best for their kiddo but also lives in a reality where things like affordability and flexibility matter.
Bonus great things about DOT Tot: they provide diapers, wipes, and food; they are a non-profit with a Board of Directors made up of parents; they have a plan for (and experience) dealing with problematic behaviors like biting; it is always easy to get ahold of someone either via phone, email, or their parent messaging app.

I am so extremely grateful we were told about DOT Tot by a friend. We enrolled our son in their care when he was a little over a year old, and he was at DOT Tot until he entered kindergarten at age five. My son formed several close friendships at the center, and he is still close with many of the teachers there, who check in about him even after he left for kindergarten. Many things set DOT Tot apart:
- They're a non-profit, so they put the kids in their care and their staff above profit.
- Their director, Ms. Gina, is incredibly responsive to parents, kids and staff. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone's needs are met.
- They offer their staff full health and dental benefits and paid time off to their staff, encouraging employee longevity. The most senior employee there has been there since the 1980s!
- They provide breakfast, snack and lunch, and THEY PROVIDE WIPES AND DIAPERS! If you're a parent, you know how important this is.
- They communicate effectively with parents to let them know when things are going well, and when there are issues. They have policies for everything you can imagine (biting, potty training, etc) and handle things in stride.
- There is a parent led board of directors (since they're a non-profit this is a requirement). You can volunteer to join the board (I did, and can whole heartedly recommend that if you want to help the center thrive).
The staff at the center emphasize community and working together for the kids, and were instrumental in helping our son learn good manners, empathy and consideration for the world around him. They help accelerate his potty training, and even taught him table manners. I'm just so happy we found this daycare center.

Dot Tot has amazing teachers that genuinely care about the children and go out of their way to make sure they are engaged and being taken care of. There are picture days, holiday events for the children, education, and great socialization opportunities.
Dot Tot provides diapers, and meals/snacks to the children that make a huge difference for the daily organization that goes into getting children out in the morning. No need to worry about forgetting to make lunch or loading the diapers up.
The center has been operating through the Covid-19 pandemic and Dot Tot has been wonderful in supporting safety first. The best part is that Dot Tot is a non-profit, and every penny goes into supporting the children, staff, and upgrading the center - and it shows!

The teachers are amazingly loving, caring, thoughtful, patient and genuine. We could not have chosen a better place for our son who started attending here since he was four months old and now, 26 months and counting. We love that they pay attention to detail, teach proper manners, embrace imagination, and give a lot of love and hugs. They treat each kid as individuals.
Below are highlights:
- Hours 7 AM – 6 PM
- Seasoned/long term teachers/staff
- Diapers/wipes/lunch/snacks included in tuition
- Potty training included
- Clean facility
- Director/teachers are passionate in what they do
- Convenient location
- Ample parking for pickup/drop-offs
- Multiple outdoor playground areas
- Fun activities/events (ex. sing, dance, read)
