Our family LOVES Rushton!!! The teachers make the center such a special place. You can tell how much they care for each child and truly take the time to get to know each one’s personality and family dynamics. We love the smaller class size and the ability to get to know other families at center wide events. Such a special place! If you’re looking for childcare for your little one, look no further!

We chose EPRCDC for its outstanding reputation and dedication to fostering the growth, development, and safety of children. Before enrolling our child, we heard numerous positive testimonials about EPR from families who had successful experiences there. This made us feel reassured when it was time for our little one to join the EPR community. The staff at EPRCDC are exceptionally friendly and professional. Additionally, the use of technology and apps is a significant advantage, allowing us to monitor our child's daily activities without interrupting our busy work schedules. Overall, we have been thoroughly satisfied with our decision.

Update 10/2024: because of this whole ordeal we took our child to a behavioral therapist because we were concerned despite this not being an issue elsewhere or with anyone else. Our child was evaluated, the communications I had from the school were reviewed and our child’s behavior was deemed AGE APPROPRIATE and NORMAL. They DO NOT recommend any behavioral therapy for our child. They concluded that she needed more time to adjust and that she was not given the appropriate guidance and assistance at that school to succeed in the time she was there. 9/2024: our child just turned 4 years old. The school seems great and well structured, but unless you have a child with near perfect behavior, has an extremely good temperament, can manage their emotions AND be well adjusted to a new setting/routine in 4 or less weeks well this is not the school for them as they have a zero tolerance for a ill behavior (which is typical when completely changing a young child’s routine). Of course, as parents we try our best to instill good behavior and work hard to correct whatever may be the issue but some have forgotten that they are just children who have been on the earth a minimal amount of time and are still learning about their emotions and behaviors and are not able to express what they are feeling, process and comprehend their emotions as fast as we would like. We were expected to have our child do a complete flip in behavior in less than a months time. Behavior that was new to us and brought on since attending this school. NO issues at her prior daycare. We had some back and forth communications and sometimes no communication at all because i expect to be contacted if there is an issue so it can be addressed. I would often have to ask them myself about our child’s day and behavior and THEN there would be something they had to tell me from a day or two ago. I assumed no news is good news, but apparently I was wrong. Also, we have been told before and afterschool staff are NOT educated/trained in dealing with “unwanted behaviors”, AKA children behaving as children? Resulting in them giving up on our child within 3 weeks despite active communication, parent teacher meeting and efforts to improve this new unwanted behavior. Our child was kicked out of before/afterschool on a Friday afternoon before a holiday leaving us no choice but to withdraw her completely as she has full time two working parents and working grandparents. No time to let us figure out anything. Luckily we were able to put her back in her prior daycare without issues. It seems that they go off of a very “one size fits all” approach and if one child needs a little more help or a little more time and attention I’ve been told they do not have the resources to do that which is unfortunate. I kept being told they have to run “on schedule”. Our child did enjoy the short amount of time at the school and was ready and excited to return daily despite the issues that arose but due to the inability of the staff and lack of understanding we had to unfortunately withdraw attendance there.

We have been a part of the EPR CDC for over 4 years and are very happy with the manner in which they care for our children.
