English Village Early Learning Center

We started at English Village ELC a little over a month ago. Our daughter absolutely loves Ms. Edna and has enjoyed going to school every day. We get updates on an app whenever she is eating (and how much of her lunch she eats), when she uses the bathroom, and what they do in school that day. We also receive pictures which is super nice to see during the day. They are very flexible on pick up and drop off which has been nice for us as working parents.

1) I was getting phone calls every day to pick up my son because he wouldn’t sleep during nap time for two hours and they don’t have enough staff. Staff needs to rest and prepare educational materials. I couldn’t focus on my work. This went on for 6 weeks and I had to withdraw him. I was asked to bring him for half a day and pay for full time as a solution for this problem by his teacher. 2) my son lost significant weight and I was not told that he wasn’t eating at the daycare. I was getting inaccurate reports through their app that he was eating some of his food when he was eating nothing. I was informed about his behavior after sending an email to the teacher after a visit to our pediatrician. Our pediatrician raised a concern for the significant weight loss within a month. 3) my son was constantly sick when he was attending this daycare. He was out at least a week each month. 4) I was getting messages through their app that my son is doing well at the daycare when he was at home. 5) Finally we asked for the refund for the last month. “ As I discussed with you before our policy is no refund which I did you a favor and I returned the whole month And please don’t threaten me for review we don’t want to go that route. I can also put review where you practice medicine! On your attitude Let’s not go that route “ 6) after adding this post they cancelled the check for the deposit. I don’t care about the money. I did the right action by taking him out this day care. I can’t entrust my child in this daycare. 7) we never received any resources or support as parents. Neither the staff despite sending several messages and emails. Now my son is going to another daycare where we don’t have any issues from day one.

There’s not a higher compliment that I can give than this: I trust English Village (and absolutely love Ms Edna) with our daughter Dahlia. Wonderful experience and they truly have a gem with Ms Edna. If there is a kinder person on this planet, I have yet to meet them. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful daycare! The staff cares about the needs of both my 2 and 4 year old children. They work with us when there are concerns and keep us updated on what is happening in the classroom using the ProCare App. Very happy with our experience here!

Incredible, top notch communication in a small, extremely loving environment. Our daughter loves her teachers (so do we :), it's an extremely clean, nurturing environment where she is always learning new things and skills. She will be extremely prepared for kindergarten! The kids use workbooks for math and letters, and they use a really great app that makes check-in, check-out, and all other communication very easily. I highly recommend EV!!
