Epic Learning Center

My husband and I recently moved to Bossier City in May 2023 and had to find a place asap for our toddler girl. Luckily, ELC (epic learning center) had a spot for our toddler and took her in. I was terrified being in a new place, but Sylvia and Randi made it like home. My daughter got Princess as her teacher and we instantly connected. Princess was very considerate in all of a parent's concerns and made sure the kids in the room got the attention they needed. I recommend parents really get to know the staff well to establish that trust and safety we are all searching for our babies.

My son used to attend their before and after school program. I liked the facility and the director was great, however I noticed multiple safety and security concerns very quickly. Parents are supposed to make a pin to get into the main building to sign their children in, but the door was always unlocked. That door lead straight inside to the front desk and baby area, and the school age children were to sit on the floor in the entry area until they boarded the van to go to school. The paper sign in forms were often overfilled without any replacements. As for after school, the school age children were kept in a side building with a pull up drive through. Inside is just a huge room for the kids, which was nice at first. The door to this area that parents were told to use for pickup didn’t have a pin, so if it was locked then an employee had to come and open it for the parent. Because of this, they often had the door propped open with a chair. Anyone could get in there without any problems.

My daughter started with Epic Learning Center at 8 weeks old, and she is now almost 2 years old. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with the center! The teachers make me feel at ease and comfortable with leaving my daughter every day. The director handles everything professionally and is very responsive with calls and emails. I love that they have cameras, and the location is perfect for my commute. If you are looking for a daycare, this is the one! We love Epic!!

Our son started at Epic daycare in Bossier in 2017 (at that time the establishment was under a different owner and had a different name but the transition was seamless!). We loved all of the teachers our son had as he aged up through the classes. At one point the center had a sports program that came and took the kids out to play during their time at daycare. It was an extra cost but absolutely worth it! All the staff were very interactive and helpful, and always knew fun things about our child. When our daughter was born we put her on the infant list and she was able to start at 3 months in 2018. This allowed us to receive a sibling discount. Again, the teachers were wonderful with both our children. We were moved out of state by the military in Dec 2018 and upon our return this past Dec (2020), we were able to start our children back at Epic. The teachers remembered our children, and were so glad when we came home! These staff members love our children like their own which gives us such a piece of mind about their safety and happiness. The curriculum is great and really promotes kindergarten preparedness!

The love and care these ladies show the children is so obvious! Every time I pick my son up, the children are laughing with teachers, singing karaoke, playing happily, or being hugged and loved on! My son loves going to daycare, now! Coming from someone who took her child out of a different daycare, please believe me when I say Sylvia, Courtney, and all the other teachers genuinely care for the kiddos. They’re also ALWAYS on top of things and keep me informed of things like if my son is feeling icky or showing symptoms of anything. They make sure I’m aware of any unusual behavior, etc. It is SUCH a comfort to know that sick children are not allowed in this center. They take health and safety very seriously!!! My son has plenty of room to play, opportunity to learn, and people to depend on while at school. I also love that they have a monthly menu of what they feed the kiddos so I can watch for possible allergy reactions to new foods! MOST IMPORTANTLY, I can voice any concerns or suggestions to Sylvia, the director, and it will be heard with open ears. I never am treated like I’m being too overbearing as a parent, they never argue or jump to be defensive. Sylvia WANTS to hear your concerns and wants to make sure parents and babies are both happy! I can work during the day with no concern or worries at all! I absolutely love the Airline Drive Epic Learning Center crew and staff so does my son! ♥️
