This is one of the best daycares I’ve been to. The teachers have been so great. The staff awesome. It’s been a family to us for the last two years. Ms Monica and Sanaa have been my daughter’s teachers since she joined in 2023. She also has other teachers like Fatou, Debby, Michelle and others who take care of her for after care. It breaks my heart that they’re closing down one of the best centers in the North😭😭😭😭

I'm devastated by the sad news of ELC's closure. I won't find another place like this; this early learning center is wonderful. It's not fair that they do this. Many families depend on this center. The caregivers at this center are the best. They do their work with love. My children learn so much here.😭

We definitely do not want this school to close. What can we do about it? It makes us very sad. I do not want to take my child to another school. 😭🫣

With a heavy heart i am very upset with the way Kristina ( head lady) and the EACAP teacher Rachelle excused and unvalidated the physical aggresion my daughter was experiencing almost daily from a couple students that had some issues with aggression. Incidents that left marks on my daughters body but only one incident report was made and even that was delivered days later with little effort in explaining what happened. Every incident my daughter was made to believe that the aggressor was sorry and it was only an accident and my daughter expected to accept that and move on. Nope. Not okay. My daughter deserves to be safe at school. When I advocated for my daughter and set up meetings with everyone, nothing was ever settled. I eventually had to remove her from the school..that was my only option. We were invalidated Every time. This school ( well..Rachelle runs on a traditional paridym and does not support parent-teacher school-home connection like it's made to look. I was told that I could not discuss my concerns with whom ever is in the classroom ( " half time staff were the words used") when I dropped off my daughter in the mornings. For instance, if my daughter told me that someone just would not stop hitting on her, or sat on her head and she couldn't breath and no one helped her or did anything and she was so very scared ( YES! This hsppened) well I couldn't tell whoever that was in the classroom when I dropped my daughter off that this other kids was hitting on her and if they could please keep an eye in them when they are around my daughter. WHAT? I can talk to whomever I chose about the safety of my daughter and any concerns I have about her safety. Especially if I am leaving my daughter there with them. I'm not impressed with How we were invalidated and pressed to think that the only solution was to remove my daughter...NOT THE KIDS RUNNING AROUND HURTING OTHER KIDS EVERY SINGLE DAY
