Everbrook Academy of Wake Forest - Raleigh

2025 UPDATE: I am updating my original 1 star review. A former staff member (who we LOVED) returned late 2024 as the new director & she is hard at work to make Everbrook the 5 star daycare/preschool it used to be. We needed a change for my youngest child, so I reached out to Sam in January with lots of questions, & she assured me Everbrook was headed back in the direction we were used to. I trusted her & I am so glad I did. We moved over to Everbrook in February & my child has made so much educational & behavior progress in just a few short months. For example, we left our previous facility at 3.5 yo with barely any letter recognition; 2.5 months later my child not only recognizes letters, but is writing letters, numbers & more. The teachers have been so patient & kind & they really want to help each child feel confident in what they are learning. Communication is top notch with both the app & the handwritten daily reports/reminders. As promised, Sam has really brought our old Everbrook back! We have since referred several friends here & plan to stay until my youngest is ready for Kindergarten next year. ————————————————————————————- This used to be one of the BEST preschool/day care options in the area. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Due to poor management Everbrook has lost superior teachers & support staff. We were promised positive changes when a new principal was brought in late last year, but things have just continued to get worse. The teachers aren’t supported (when they have our children’s best interest at heart), classrooms are maxed out despite staffing shortages, operating hours were shortened for months despite no decrease in the cost of tuition, new staff that is hired is poorly trained, etc. The parents tried to pick up the slack & get teachers to hang on in hopes a change would come, but we eventually gave up too. It’s not every day you have an educational environment where the teachers & parents are partners, where the staff enjoy working with each other & everyone is a great team! It is beyond frustrating that the staff repeatedly expressing their concerns & parents repeatedly expressing our frustrations fell upon deaf ears. My older children have been here since the first day they opened in October 2020. I was once a proud supporter of this school, but now I’m counting down the days until my middle child graduates from JK in June & have already found an alternative for my youngest. Unless this place does a HARD turnaround, I‘ll be surprised if they are still open this time next year, which is sad because this area desperately needed a childcare option like the old Everbrook.

I am extremely impressed by Everbrook Academy. The teachers I’ve encountered have all been so nice and welcoming. They go above and beyond to let me know how my son is doing through out the day via the SproutAbout app and always keep me in the know on things that are going on. Every morning I’m greeted with many hellos and good mornings which make for such a pleasant drop off experience, but the best thing has been that my son is excited to come to school every day. He has friends and talks about his day in a way that warms my heart. It’s a drastic difference considering we took him out of a place that he feared to go to, which no child should feel. His past teachers at Everbrook and current teachers have been phenomenal and I would encourage any parent to try Everbrook out as it’s made the best difference in my child’s life and as a parent that’s all I could ever hope for.

Staff at Everbrook are passionately welcoming. The partnership between parents and staff is solid and their children are at the centre of care and attention. Parents appear happy and it is so joyful to see how happy and keen the children are when coming to school (and the little babies with them big bouncing smiles and hand clapping!. the corriculum is nurturing and varied across all age groups and their extended curriculum is outstanding, children will succeed and excel. Everbrook Academy schools coummunity truley have alot to celebrate. Its an honour to be apart of this.

We have been going to Everbrook since July 2021 and we love it here! Our son is in Ms. Sonya's and Ms. Wanda's classroom and we are so grateful to them and the entire Everbrook staff. Our son needed extra help with feeding and speech and they go above and beyond to work with us and keep us updated everyday. We also know the front staff and the other helpers and teachers. Everyone is welcoming and friendly here and we feel safe with our child being here everyday. Their food is great and the care and attention they give to the children is wonderful. We love all the fun activities (even for the toddlers)!! If you are trying to decide to go here, don't hesitate!! Our son is getting ready to transition to the next big kid room and they have a plan and are super organized to make us feel at ease. Definitely recommend going here!

We have been so happy that our child joined Everbrook Academy in July 2021. The Junior K program led by Ms. Gwaro and Ms. Paige is exemplary. The quality of education and kindergarten preparatory skills that our child has gained in such a short time is outstanding. Everyday we are greeted with a smile and we are grateful for the professional and quality care our child receives.
