Excel Early Learning Center

This school is amazing!! So happy that we found it and got in! Our family relocated to River Ridge from out of state. Our son doesn’t have any siblings so it was important for us to get him into school to interact with others kiddos his age. He loves school so much that he is always the last to leave and occasionally cries as he wants to stay longer. I was really worried about him integrating into a preschool as he’s always on the move, I was amazed to see him sit at the table to eat or stay seated at story time. But my son isn’t perfect, he gets restless and sometimes wants to get out of a group activity, so his teachers redirect him to complete an activity on his own such as reading a book, taking a break to lie down on a pillow, or giving him sensory toy to play with, etc. It’s just so awesome that my son is getting great care with the development he needs. Meanwhile, they use Procare communication app which allows you to connect with the school directors and teachers. Teachers send pics, updates of how my son is doing throughout the day. They have plenty of activities so it’s so cute to see pics of him doing art, making crafts, or having in-school field trips, workshops, etc. Finally, I love that my son is well fed. They have catered breakfast and lunches brought in every day from a local restaurant called “Boucherie”. This is at any additional cost at $5.25 a day, but well worth it as he is getting a variety of foods and we don’t have to stress out about preparing meals and snacks. I love that it’s all healthy and homemade, not that processed food drama. I love Excel Early Learning Center. Thank you so much for providing such a loving environment for our son, and the tools he needs to let him explore, discover, and learn. You’re simply the best!!

We joined Excel in April of 2024. Having previously had our daughter in a small, at-home daycare provider, the transition to a “big” center was scary (well, more so for us as parents) but having seen the Excel community grow over the past few months has been nothing short of wonderful. I work for a non-profit that deals with the struggles of early education since we live in a country that doesn’t properly support the needs of 0-3 education, and so I know firsthand how challenging this field of work can be, but even more so how vital it is to the children, families & communities they serve. Excel has been nothing but wonderful in terms of going above and beyond to care for our daughter, and we are forever thankful for the work they do, joy they bring & love they share.

We started bringing our now 9mo to Excel in June. We didn’t know what to expect from a daycare as he’s our first child, but excel has been so supportive and wonderful throughout all of these new milestones! We love the women in the nursery and can’t recommend it enough!

LOVE Excel! Our girl has thrived in the last year attending this school. She is always so excited to see her teachers and friends each day. They have provided a warm and loving atmosphere that promotes healthy mental, physical, and socio-emotional development in an inclusive and joyful community. The staff at Excel foster the personal growth and development of each child, empowering them to be and do their very best. It is evident that they put children first. Simply put, you couldn't ask for a better preschool.

Love this place! My nieces and nephews attend school here and they absolutely love it. Miss Jillian and miss Gabby are such a wonderful directors. I also had the honor of my son Attending Saint Matthews when Miss Jillian was the Director and my son loved it and And learned so much from the high-quality of teachers that she had working under her return my son got into some very Prestine schools and excel. The children are so loved and they learn so much. I also had the honor to work for both of these women And were very kind I have never Met to honorable women,as Miss Jillian and Miss Gabby.
