In response to a recent negative review: As a parent, I take my child’s care very seriously, and I wouldn’t leave them anywhere I didn’t fully trust. The attached photos are public knowledge and available to anyone. With that said, I’m thankful that it was taken into consideration and handled in a way that the children of the whole daycare are protected and cared for well. While no daycare is perfect—because we are all human and mistakes do happen—I can confidently say that Faith & Family Early Learning Center has handled any challenges with transparency, integrity, and professionalism. This center consistently follows all childcare laws and regulations to the best of their ability. They respond to incidents quickly and thoroughly—much better than any other daycare I’ve experienced. The staff is dedicated and genuinely cares about the well-being of the children. It’s important to recognize that many of the negative comments seem to come from former employees who may be expressing personal frustrations rather than objective truths. It’s worth noting that this is a faith-based facility, and often, when meaningful work is being done—especially work grounded in faith—it can attract unwarranted criticism. I personally believe this center is under attack not because it’s failing, but because it’s doing something right. Let’s also remember that Texas is an at-will employment state, meaning both employers and employees can end employment at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all (barring legal exceptions). That includes an employee choosing to leave or an employer making a staffing change. This legal structure does not imply wrongdoing—it’s simply how employment works in this state. At the end of the day, my experience as a parent has been nothing but positive. The leadership is strong, the staff is caring, and I feel confident leaving my child in their hands.

This was the first daycare my children have ever attended, and as a parent, I came in with so much hope — hoping my kids would feel safe, loved, and cared for while away from home. Sadly, over the last few months, things have gone downhill, and it’s been heartbreaking to witness. I’ve noticed some teachers seem to avoid certain kids, including mine. There have been multiple times when I’ve walked in to pick up my children and heard staff yelling at the kids instead of calmly handling situations. That kind of environment doesn’t feel nurturing — it feels stressful and unsettling. One of my biggest concerns is that my child has come home with multiple bite marks in a single week. It’s confusing and frustrating that the child doing the biting remains in the classroom, without being sent home or taking any time away. It makes me question the safety measures in place for all the kids. It’s also been extremely difficult to speak with the director — she’s rarely there, and I feel like I don’t have a voice when I need to raise concerns or ask important questions. As a parent, I’ve now developed a real fear of sending my children to daycare, which is devastating. What hurts even more is walking into my child’s room and being hit by a strong odor — the kind that clings to my baby when we leave. It kills me inside knowing they’re sitting in that environment all day. And perhaps most heartbreaking of all is seeing babies left crying in their cribs, peeking their heads out, clearly looking for someone to comfort them — to love on them — and being ignored. This is not the kind of care any child deserves. I truly hope this review encourages the leadership to take a serious look at what’s going on and make some much-needed changes because our children deserve better

Please don't take your children to this place. The director is unprofessional. She allows her son to bite other children, and she does nothing. She also allowed another parent's child to choke another child, and she does nothing. These children still go to the center. Also, the director says that she involves herself in the classroom NOT! Please roll back the camera. I truly think that because she and her husband are in a financial debt that she tends to take it out on the other staff. The director will laugh and grin in your face but will go behind your back and fire you through text or email. That is unprofessional.

My relative told me about the abysmal experience due to the director and her child who was biting the kids there. She was unprofessional in handling it after numerous complaints and didn’t do anything about it. The director also let staff vape in the classroom where the children were and didn’t tell her to stop or discipline her. Also failed to do anything about a child who choked other children more than once.My relative was hoping for change but ultimately no longer has her kids at this place anymore. Due to lack of communication and unprofessionalism.

I had my daughter at f&f for over a year before my employment changed and will be returning her to the center once it's feasible again. I enrolled my daughter at 3 months and she stayed until 14. The whole time the staff was very friendly and helpful, and was great with handling an exclusively breast fed and cloth diapered baby. There always seemed to be plenty of staff and the directors helped out where needed. I would recommend this facility to anybody. Note: This is a state licensed daycare so there are state mandated rules that every daycare must follow. This includes the babies sleeping on firm surfaces without blankets or bibs on. A pacifier is allowed. This facility has some of the better staff to child ratios that I know of. If you need more than f&f has to offer, then you'll be left looking for a nanny.
