First Baptist Child Development

My daughter attended FBCDC and the very first time we met Jennifer and the staff at FBCDC I knew it was the perfect fit. My daughter was provided with so much attention and love from the ladies at this daycare. They go the extra mile to provide for the children. They also set a foundation that enables children to make good choices about the food they eat. My daughter was ready for kindergarten once she left there. My daughter is almost 8 and continues to talk about how much she misses Ms. Jennifer and the staff that had taken care of her. They are truly amazing!

We had our kids at the FBCDC for 10 years.... Our oldest now is finishing middle school and to this day, her best friends are the ones from CDC... they made such incredible human, loving and caring connections and we truly felt our kids were genuinely loved. All the teachers, especially Jennifer Buchanan who has been the most amazing mentor, teacher and leader if the group. She would go out of her way to make sure the kids didn't miss a celebration, making sure kids felt special and loved. I don't know how she does it! But she loves and cares unconditionally, and many many years after graduation my kids still go visit her. Nothing ever compared to the family environment we had at FBCDC. Miss you all and we are forever grateful.

I have had 2 children attend the CDC. One is a graduate and loved his teachers and especially Ms. Jennifer. He talks about the center often and all of the fun he had there. My youngest attends now and I am constantly in the know and updated on all the wonderful things my child is doing. I love it the most when I am sent pictures of his smiling happy face enjoying his days with his friends. I wouldn't trust my children with any other center.

We are entering our ninth and last year at First Baptist Child Development Center with our two children. I could not imagine having my children attend any other childcare facility. From the very first time I met with Jennifer to tour the facility I felt a kinship to FBCDC. The day I dropped my first child off in the baby room with Erika and Carol, it felt more like I was dropping her off with family instead of leaving her at a childcare facility. Every staff member there is 100% dedicated and devoted to the children in the center. Our daughter started kindergarten and was well prepared. When our son arrived early and was in the NICU with a heart condition, Jennifer and Jodie and all the staff rallied around our family and helped our daughter process everything going on. Jennifer came to the NICU to meet our boy and learn about his heart condition in preparation of his eventually joining his sister at FBCDC. The curriculum is great! The structure is perfect! The versatility in learning is awesome! Our children thrived at FBCDC and have a strong foundation in learning thanks to FBCDC. It truly is like family! We highly recommend!!

My child has been at First Baptist for several years, and loves everyone there. "Ms. Jennifer," "Ms. Bree," and all of the teachers have gracefully given our little ones a safe place to grow, learn, and play (outside for a couple of hours per day, weather permitting), even through a pandemic. I enthusiastically recommend First Baptist to anyone looking for daycare in Asheville.
