First Baptist Church of Destin

We love First Baptist Daycare! My oldest daughter who is now 14 years old attended First Baptist. So when I had my youngest daughter 3 years ago I knew I wanted her to go here as well. They were not only amazing when I reached out but have been such a huge part of raising both of my girls. The teachers, staff, and directors truly love and care about each child and it shows. The good character they instill in all of the kids and especially both my girls has been more than I could have ever expected. We know that when we leave our child for the day she is in the best hands. The communication with the directors is great. And they have been a great source of support and guidance for us as parents. I have referred many friends to First Baptist and will continue to for years to come.

First Baptist Day Care has been a wonderful place for my kids from the time they were babies all the way through Pre-K. The teachers have lovingly helped raise my children and have provided a spiritual foundation for them by teaching prayer and the bible. In all the years my children attended First Baptist I felt secure and confident that they were well taken care of by their teachers.

My two year old son just started here and it has been wonderful. The facility is so clean and inviting to the children. All the employees look happy to be there and engaged with the children. The security system is top notch and I feel Safe dropping my son off each morning. I also like that they use Abeka which in my opinion is the absolute best educational program for young children. I feel blessed to have my child going here

What has happened to this school? After three generations of my family attending this school (going back to the early 90s with Pastor Boone) we will be finding somewhere else for our youngest family member to attend. This church is unable to keep qualified or trained teachers (not Covid related) that speaks volumes of the director/administration. Unorganized and unprofessional office. Director gaslights parents by telling them what they want to hear and then denying conversations took place. I can’t be the only one! No integrity. Excessively long wait lists with no organization. I pray the current pastor finds a new director and returns this school to the glory it once was.

This school is great! The teachers and daycare staff are so friendly and inviting, every morning and afternoon everyone always has a smile on their face. You can tell that everyone truly enjoys what they do and care so much about each student. I highly recommend it!
