We visited First Baptist Morganton for the Ash Wednesday service (2023). Prior to the service, members acknowledged us with smiles and hellos. The message was meaningful, and the imposition of ashes appropriately solemn. We were impressed that the minister spoke to each person by name and asked us ours before placing the ashes on our foreheads. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

These people are a God send!! If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have had help with kerosene for the past 4 years! But thanks to the wonderful people here who organize this program, 100's of people will stay warm this winter!! I love them!

Absolutely beautiful church. Was there attending a pinning service for a family member who had graduated from Piedmont Community College to be a nurse. We were very well accommodated.
