First Years Early Childhood

The teachers and owners love my child as if she was their own!! My girl is absolutely thriving, learning, making friends, and loving her school! We have had an amazing experience since 11 weeks old and going strong at over 2.5 years old! No doubt she has an established & consistent sleep schedule that started at school. She comes home every day saying something new or doing a new dance! We get a report card every day. Any small issue in the past (a new hire infant room teacher was stealing our bibs and teethers), was immediately addressed. I attended FY for after school care with my cousins and I feel great about sending my baby here!

My grandson has been taken care of at First Years since he was an infant. He is now in PreK there. The owners are fantastic, caring people who work very hard. The staff is over the top great! Highly recommend!

Absolutely WORST daycare in Lafayette!! Please don’t trust these people with your children. I did, and a teacher dragged my child by the ankle. After the incident A NUMBER of mothers wrote to me saying there experience was nothing but the same. ALSO, please be aware that the owners could care less about the well being of your children, because when we went forth and talked to the owners, we walked out being blamed for verbal abuse because of a curse word that was said out of anger. Please don’t send your babies here, this place is nothing but a joke!

This day care is run terribly. My 18 month old grand son was handled very roughly by his teacher. Grabbed by the ankle and flung backwards. When my son and daughter in law went to the owners they were dismissed and told that they were verbally abusive to there children because they cursed to the owner when becoming angry. The day care did absolutely nothing to try and resolve anything. Horrible people.

Please do not send your child here at all . My son has autism and was getting mistreated terribly because they don’t understand him they always would put him in time out and my husband caught them pulling by his arm so no telling what else they was doing and he got to a point he was terrified to even go over there . I strongly believed he was abused. Do not bring your children here .
