We absolutely love FELA. Our little one blossomed almost overnight after moving him to this school. He’s learning so much every day and it is clear to him and to us he is loved and cared for. We cannot imagine him being anywhere else and know he is getting the best foundation possible before starting school. It’s impossible to put into words what this school means to him and to us as his parents.

I had to think long and hard before leaving this review. I used to be very fond of this place until I realized how it made me feel about my children. I am the mother of three boys all very energetic and yes at times strong willed, but what children aren't? I do get onto my children for bad behavior and do not just let them run a muck. I expect them to say please thank yes sir and no sir. I even attended this church until the spring when I realized how terrible the school makes you feel about your children. I remember them calling me from work when I worked over an hour away to pick them up because of something so simple as they weren't listening....my supervisor at the time questioned their lack of ability to redirect children and time and time again I would pick up my children in tears thinking I had terrible kids. I even secretly had my older boys tested prior to grade school for behavior issues solely based on reports from this place. It wasn't until grade school when I started to realize upon them receiving awards for good behavior that they weren't exceptionally bad kids it's just this place expects grade school behavior out of toddlers. It wasn't until I was called by the director to remove my youngest three year old who has never attended Day care before that I realized how terrible this school made me feel about my kids in the past. They claimed he was saying the word "shut up" which is funny both myself and the gym staff where I attend only noticed him saying this once he began attending there. He could have very well have picked this up from older brothers or he could have learned it there and it was such an embarrassment since he repeated it like a canary that he was asked to leave.... I'll never know, I will say that this word magically left his vocabulary once he stayed home. I was also accused of hurting him when I got onto him trying to remove this word from his vocabulary as they suggested which was the biggest insult ever since I have attended here for YEARS!!! I used to get anxiety when I would drive home wondering how bad the reports would be this time with my older kids.....and with my third child being asked to leave after only getting to try daycare for two weeks and no warning to try and find a new place I decided I would never again associate with this church or this school. I also noticed there are several non compliances with how they discipline kids too harshly for their age by yelling and leaving them in hallways unattended. I hope other parents that experience the same feelings read this and realize maybe the expectations are a bit high there and it isn't normal to feel that negatively about your own children. And if someone from this facility is reading this I truly hope you can step back and make improvements because I never realized this was the largest part of me feeling negative about working until this spring when I realized this facility is just exceptionally negative. I will never again go back despite some wonderful church members that I will miss.

All 3 of my children have attended Friedens Early Learning Academy, my youngest is still there. My older children loved going there. I love that the entire staff knows and cares for my children. It’s a very loving atmosphere.

We were very pleased with the staff and management when we started bringing our kids. As time went on, Rachel’s true colors came out. She is s back stabbing, manipulative person. Use caution when dealing with her!
