Garden Playhouse Daycare

Our daughter attended Garden playhouse under the care of Sarika for a period of 18 months. Our experience has been wonderful and I highly recommend Sarika’s daycare for those seeking childcare options for their kids. The day care is clean and safe with creative, engaging and educational activities for the children. Sarika is an exceptional individual- hardworking, meticulous, kind, attentive and patient with the kids. She personally prepares all the food, including home made bread, ensuring children receive hearty, healthy and nutritious meals. She has provided excellent care for our daughter in a warm home-like environment. The children participate in a variety of activities such as art and craft, nature walks, cooking, rhymes, games, sand play, water play during summers, baking and more. Sarika communicates clearly and sends pictures and videos of the children’s activities throughout the week. She has greatly improved our child’s eating skills and assisted us with potty training. We are deeply grateful for everything she has done for us and wish her continued success and happiness.

My son started going to Garden Playhouse Daycare at 15 months old and was there till he was 3. He took his first steps there, learned forming sentences and the skill to eat on his own. I recommend the place highly for parents seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their little ones. Sarika, the owner is very experienced and committed to early child development and education in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. She provides home cooked delicious and nutritious meals which my son loved. She is very patient with the kids and keeps parents updated on all the progress made. Kids were always engaged with songs, dances, coloring and various other outdoor and indoor activities Sarika took up with them, always something new. One aspect of Garden Playhouse Daycare that particularly resonated with us was their adherence to the Waldorf philosophy, where they prioritized the holistic development of each child, fostering creativity, imagination, and a love for nature. From storytelling to art projects, my child's imagination was encouraged to flourish. Sarika also helped us guide my son with various stages of food choices, potty training, sharing things with the kids. Her tips are golden. With her constant efforts, my son by the time he was 3 was singing a lot of rhymes, dancing, telling stories, counting and alphabets. He could tell days of the week, months, all colors. I am extremely happy with the daycare my son attends. He has improved his eating skills and is now able to eat by himself. This is a big accomplishment for a toddler and I am grateful to the daycare for fostering this development. Additionally, my son has started speaking Hindi since going to the daycare. This is such a valuable skill to have and I am impressed that the daycare is able to provide a bilingual education for the children. My son is always happy when he goes to the daycare. He loves playing with the other children and engaging in the various activities that are organized by the staff. The daycare always has something fun and exciting planned, whether it's a Fire Drill Day to learn about safety, or a special art project. Sarika - who runs the daycare at the daycare is also wonderful. She is kind, patient, and attentive to the needs of the children. She makes sure to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the kids to learn and grow. I am so grateful to the daycare for providing such a positive and enriching experience for my son. He looks forward to going to the daycare every day and it brings me great joy to see him happy and thriving. Overall, I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their child.

Sarika is an excellent caretaker! She works with you to meet your child’s need and comfort. She prepares fresh home made food everyday and her menu is holistic. Kids are also engaged in numerous sensory activities like cooking, playing with mud, interacting with nature etc. Overall, I would definitely recommend this daycare!

Our daughter started going here at the age of 10 months. Sarika (who runs the daycare) was very attentive and communicated a lot in initial few days which helped us. Sarika is also extremely accommodating of every child's individual needs, from how to feed the child (baby led weaning vs spoon fed), sleep schedules, style of putting to sleep, diet restrictions etc. Highly recommended
