Georgetown Hill Early School

We were fortunate to allow our children get their start at Georgetown Hill. The teachers care about your children’s well being as much as their academics. Our children never would’ve been able to experience all the hands on activities, extra curricular activities and local programs had it not been for this school. I recommend it to everyone. I’m especially thankful they make an effort to make sure the kids get outdoors as much as possible. They’re allowed to be kids. They also make sure to always change their surroundings (indoor and outdoor) to the theme of the month. Which doesn’t go unnoticed. There’s always something new to expand their mind and we’re so thankful.

We love Georgetown Hill at Hood. Our kiddo has so much fun while learning how to human. The teachers and staff keep us updated throughout the day and week. They always have new activities for the kids, plus recurring interactive activities (PE, music) and occasional extra activities (e.g., they had a reptile visit this week). Staff, teachers, and other parents are all a pleasure. I work easier knowing my kid is safe and well cared for physically and emotionally while at GHES. Go Owls!

We have had one kiddo go through the 3's and Pk4 classes, and now her little sister is in the 2's group. We are very happy with the school. The facility is nice and in a great location, and the staff are wonderful. My kiddos love their teachers, and I have been impressed with how well the school has helped my kiddo transition when there is a change in personnel. That shows how stable the overall environment is for the kids, IMO. Communication is good, great flexibility on times/days to sign up for, positive environment that my girls love - highly recommended.

We sent our 2 year old here for her first school experience, and could not have picked a better intro to learning for her! The staff was very friendly and communicative. They sent pictures through an app, which I loved, and I felt confident my daughter was going to have a great day every time I dropped her off. I love the flexibility of the program-- we signed up for the half day program, 3 days a week. That's almost impossible to find for a 2 year old! Georgetown Hill was our unicorn, and we will be sending our second daughter here as soon as she's old enough! Absolutely recommend this school.

My 5 year old is her second year in Pre-k at GHES in Frederick. The teachers are great and she is always very excited to go to school. We are definitely sending our youngest there next year.
