Giggles and Wiggles Child Care

I found this daycare as a referral from a friend and have been thrilled. I love calling it a preschool as well because there is a really cool classroom where the kids learn. My son has learned so much and does many activities and crafts. He also has so much fun! The kids sometimes do parties and field trips, which the kiddos love. Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Chelsea are so sweet and patient with the kids. They are attentive and fun. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking. With the great hours and wonderful care for my son, I highly recommend giggles and wiggles.

My son has been attending giggles & wiggles daycare for over a year and a half now. My daughter just started about 4 months ago. Our experience has been nothing but amazing from the get go. Ms. Carolyn, Ms. Chelsea and their helpers are so good with the kiddos. It’s always hard trusting someone else with your children when starting, but I am so thankful I found them! They play, learn, take field trips, and so much more. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for my babies. If you’re looking for a trust worthy daycare that will treat your children as their own, you’re in the right place!

I moved from New Jersey to California Oct of 2020. My son was 8 months old and I had no idea about anything in Bakersfield nor anyone who could refer me to a good day care facility. I googled 5 star day cares and the first one that came up was giggles and wiggles. 5 stars, great reviews, and in a great location. When I called Mrs.Carolyn said she didn’t have any available openings but could have a spot for an infant in about three weeks. She said she would call me. Well a week went by and my phone rang, a spot was open and she asked if I would like to come by for a tour. My son and I immediately took the offer. Mrs. Carolyn was amazing, very welcoming, beautiful home, great neighborhood, so many activities for the children and her whole routine just amazed me. We started full time right away….. we are going on over three years at giggles and wiggles and my baby has progressed so much. From potty training, to his colors, numbers, alphabet, manners, daily activities…. You name it, it is being done. My son is a hand full and def. Has his bad days…. I appreciate all her patience, working with my baby to improve on coping skills, her communication with me and her overall love for not only My son but all the children that come in and out of her home. Mrs. Carolyn and Ms. Chelsea are truly Amazing and I am beyond grateful to have found such a trusting in home day care that not only makes me feel good as a parent to drop my son off but to know he loves it, is happy everyday, is learning so much and daily activities are being done. Best day care around and if you are in the Bakersfield area and need a great day care, call, see if there are any openings because you will not be disappointed. When I received a call back from Carolyn she answered all of my questions and was very warm regarding all my worries. She invited my family to visit Giggles and Wiggles the following weekend. I was able to take my daughter in so that she could get herself familiar with the daycare. I was blown away at how organized she had everything. She has a beautiful mural on the wall and a giant play tree in one of the playrooms. My daughter immediately began playing with all the toys. I enrolled my daughter to go three days a week for half days. I was very nervous because my daughter was kicked out of a previous daycare for crying too much (my daughter had just turned 1 at that time). My daughter was about to turn 18 months when she started at G&W. The first 2 weeks she cried at drop off and pick ups which made me so nervous because of our previous experience. Carolyn reassured me multiple times that it would get better and that she has no problem with my toddler’s crying. Every morning at drop off Carolyn was there to reassure me with confidence. On the third week it all changed, my daughter was so happy to be dropped off and even forgot to wave goodbye to me. I was so happy to finally find a daycare where daughter felt welcomed at! Now, every time we arrive my daughter is kicking with joy to get out of the car. Carolyn and her staff are a godsend to my family! I am so thankful for their patience and for the care they provide to my daughter. Carolyn is so creative with all her decor and the parties she has for the children. I look forward to see my daughter learn and grow, in a month’s time she’s already picked up new words! Thank you G&W.
