Golden Bear Academy

I have had my children enrolled here for the past 7 months. My youngest started at 5 months and my two oldest are in the before and after care program. I have not had any problems or concerns, my baby is always happy and loved and jumps into his teachers arms every morning. I always feel heard and respected and although I was apprehensive at first due to never having my older kids in daycare as babies I feel very comfortable with my baby being here. They are just as excited as me when he reaches a milestone or learning new things. I would recommend this daycare.

I have had my child in this daycare since she was 3 months old. She will now be 6 years old this year. This daycare has been a huge support system for me. My daughter loves this daycare and the staff has helped me so much with my daughter. I want to give a special thanks to Mrs. Lerana. She's a wonderful person and has been working so hard there for a long time. :) I recommend this daycare for parents looking for care for there children. Very professional and clean!

Gladys at Golden Bear Academy is amazing ! Truly a blessing for taking care of my daughter. She’s a hard worker who is dedicated to taking care of our children. My daughter is very happy and absolutely loves Gladys♥️ 1000% recommend to bring your children here !

I had my son enrolled at GBA from August 2024-April 2025 and we had an overall great experience there. Like any other place, there are a few things that can be improved, hence the reason for my 4 stars. They need more personnel to be able to handle the amount of kids that attend this school. My son was bit twice (around late february, then again late april), and also I feel like I was met with resistance on potty training as I kept pushing to get off of diapers and I would get him at the end of day wearing a diaper again after dropping off with underwear in the morning. That being said, I would 200% re-enroll him at GBA if we were to move back to Orlando. My son would ALWAYS tell my 'mama I love my teacher (Kayla)'. He would say the same thing about Amparo and multiple others there. Lorena... there aren't enough good things to say about her. She would meet my son with stickers EVERY morning (my son loves stickers), she would give him a hug every chance she had, was very sweet with us and would always be calm, polite and very understanding, even when I spoke to her not so nicely after the 2 incidents we had. All things considered, I would recommend this daycare to anyone I can. We, as parents, have to be mindful that they will not be able to stop 100% of the issues that other kids bring into the classroom from their own environment, but we also have to be involved with the teacher and how our kids are doing on a day-to-day and work together to try to avoid these kind of behaviors. I was super sad to have to take my son off of GBA, but we will remember all the staff, all the progress that my son had since he started being under Kayla's care and we deeply miss seeing Lorena and her smile every morning!

Im so happy i found this daycare. As a first time mom i was very nervous leaving my baby with people that we didn’t know but from the beginning they where very professional. From the director Lorena and his teacher's Lizandra and Diana. His teachers are the best and they always teaching him new things. I’m so happy with Lizandra and Diana. I feel safe leaving my son with them. Thank you ladies for everything
