Gonzales Day Care

We had our children at Gonzales for four years. First, the good. The teachers are very loving and caring for the kids. They give good attention to the kids and the baby side of the daycare has longer tenured teachers. Now the bad. The preschool lost a teacher and they could not find a replacement. The 3 year old class was learning very little because the teachers in the class, while well meaning, did not have the teaching qualifications. Finally, the biggest issue was when we moved our daughter to another school because of these issues and the distance from our new home. We told the owners that we were going to move her and the last day. The next month's tuition was accidentally debited from my bank account. I asked for it to be returned and only then did Gonzales claim that they have a 30 day notice period and would not be refunding the money. This policy was never explained to us when we told Gonzales we were withdrawing. They have now ignored communications and have taken an entire months fee. Very disappointing.

Our youngest (4 yr old) loves Gonzales. This was his 3rd daycare and the only one he loves, he asks to go to school to see his teachers and friends. I wish my oldest had the same experience. From the teachers, to the education this daycare is a gem, kids learn to eat well, good manners, and they are very loved. The staff has been there a long time, even during and after Covid. The management, teachers and community make this daycare very special!

I rarely leave reviews unless it’s something horrible I’ve experienced……. If I can give 10 stars 20 stars for GDC I would! And I have to say that we’ve been extremely blessed to find this daycare when my son’s previous daycare had to be closed very last minute. This place feels exactly like when my parents leave me with relatives grandparents when growing up and i just feel safe to leave your kids with them! They have been so accommodating with my son’s abrupt transition and they provide so much outdoor play! Which we love so so much! Thank you Gonzales day care! 🥰🥰🥰

My son is 15 months old and he loves it there - the staff is so friendly, caring, warm and loving. After a week or two of settling in he was giving them hugs when I dropped him off each day. It is not 'state-of-the-art' but it feels like a home and I feel confident that he is safe and well cared for there. They are very flexible in serving each child's individual needs, it's always spotless and he is always playing with educational toys or having fun when I pick him up. Highly recommend!

This daycare is amazing. The women who run it are second to none. We moved from another daycare that was horrible. There is no fancy technology just love their perminants from every single worker. Love and kindness which is hard go find in many daycares!
