Great Little Minds Academy

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this preschool! The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. They offer a wonderful range of activities that keep the kids engaged and learning, and their programs are very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of care provided and the area. The facility is clean, organized, and equipped with everything needed for a safe and fun environment.

We are so happy our daughter is enrolled at Great Little Minds Academy. Our original daycare canceled on us a month before our daughter was supposed to start. Good friends recommended GLMA and we couldn’t have been luckier that they had a spot open. The teachers love our daughter like she is their own. She leaps out of our arms to her teachers every morning and leaves with smile (and artwork) every night. Karen, the director, is very communicative and makes the school so cheerful and happy. We couldn’t recommend GLMA more.

We moved back to Houston in the fall of 2021 and were so lucky that Great Little Minds Academy had an opening for our 3 year old. She joined the preschool class not knowing any Spanish, and a year and a half later she speaks and sings in Spanish. After the initial fear of being in a new school, my daughter now RUNS inside (sometimes forgetting to say bye) because she loves her school, friends, and teachers so much! As parents we appreciate the small class sizes and the fact that the overall enrollment is small as well. We know all of the teachers and they all know our daughter by name. Communication is amazing and Ms. Karen is always available via email or a phone call. We will be so sad when our daughter starts kinder this fall and we age out. I highly recommend GLMA, all of the staff, and the diverse and fun care and education that we have experienced.

GLMA is a great school! My children had benefited tremendously from the dual language program, which is very important for my family. The location is very convenient because it is on our way to work (around downtown). The staff is very loving and caring. We love this place!

Great Little Minds Academy is like home away from home for my daughter. She began her journey at GLMA when she was just 15 months old. I originally had enrolled her at a different daycare, but after seeing it a few times I decided she just could not go there. I fell in love with this school very quickly because they do so many great activities that reminded me of what I did with my daughter while I stayed home with her. I was so excited when she moved off of the waitlist before I had to go back to work! She is now 4 years old and moving on to a “big school.” It was so hard to chose her next school, because I had such high expectations from GLMA. GLMA has been so wonderful for our daughter during these past 3.5 years. They’ve taught her countless life skills like sharing and being kind to others and academic skills like letter recognition, how to spell her name and so much much more! We are sad that our time has come to an end because GLMA is seriously like a second home for her. The teachers and director truly care about the kids and it shows! Many of the same teachers are still there that were there when my daughter started at GLMA 3.5 years ago. I highly recommend this school!
