Green Beans Preschool

We are so grateful we found Green Beans. Our son started there when he was about 19-months and we only left to get a jump on TK. Louise is warm and loving and all the teachers are engaging and kind. Between music class, art class, library trips, and tending the garden our son was exposed to so many enriching experiences. The environment is homey and welcoming and nothing beats the breakfasts, lunch, and snacks they provide. Everything is fresh and you can tell how much Louise loves nourishing the kids. I highly recommend Green Beans.

As a military family, life often comes with a lot of moving parts and uncertainty. When I retired from the military and my wife continued on active duty, we found ourselves in a tough spot—waiting on a spot at the military daycare, unsure how long it would take. That’s when we found Green Beans Preschool, and looking back now, I can honestly say it was one of the biggest blessings of this past year. From day one, Green Beans didn’t just meet our needs—they exceeded them in every way. They welcomed us with open arms, showing an incredible level of adaptability and understanding for our unique situation. As a dad adjusting to a new chapter in life, it gave me such peace of mind to know that our child was in a place that felt more like a friend’s home than an institution. The location, tucked in a quiet cul-de-sac, made drop-offs and pick-ups feel relaxed and personal. It was always so easy—no chaos, no stress—just a calm, friendly start and end to the day. Every time I left, I knew our little one was in the best hands possible. That kind of peace of mind is priceless. Louise, the owner, sets the tone for everything. She is incredibly organized, approachable, and down-to-earth. She’s built something really special at Green Beans—a warm, family-like atmosphere filled with kindness, structure, and genuine care. The staff reflects her values in every interaction. Our child thrived there, and we saw firsthand how much love and effort goes into every part of their day. After more than a year on the military daycare waitlist, we finally got a spot—which brings our time at Green Beans to a close. It’s a bittersweet goodbye. While we’re grateful for the next step, we’ll deeply miss the people and place that supported us so fully this past year. To Louise and the entire team at Green Beans: thank you. You’ve made a lasting impact on our family, and we’ll always carry that with us.

We started at Green Beans after after transferring from another school. We had been nervous because of our previous experience, but very quickly we noticed a big change in our toddler’s mood and attitude toward school. He absolutely loves going to Green Beans, he is relaxed and happy before and after school, and looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers. The owner, Louise, is very support and involved in the school, the teachers are sweet, professional, and dedicated, and the school feels like a second home for our son. The school provides a nice blend of learning activities and free play, they have special music and art teachers that visit each week, and they take weekly visits to the library. Most important, all the children are so happy!

My toddler has been able to explore her full potential at Green beans. Friends and family are so impressed with her language skills and ability to sign so many words. There’s a weekly sign class at the library across the street that they attend, but the staff also reinforces the words learned as well as implementing additional sign words. The staff are kind and very knowledgeable on child development issues. And my little one loves it there. Also, we are vegan and she is provided a nutritious and yummy meal everyday. We are so grateful we found Green Beans Preschool!

Excellent school. My daughter loves Jyothi miss. And loves the food.
