Growing Room Too of Columbus

We absolutely love the staff at The Growing Room! We were terrified to put our child in daycare/school but he has been enrolled for over 6 months now and we have ZERO complaints. The staff is so caring and loving, the director and office staff is very cooperative and loving as well. They always greet us by name and I feel like my child is truly loved. He loves going to school and always runs to greet his teachers! They do a lot of fun activities like art projects, classroom parties, dancing and singing, and a lot more. My son is 2 1/2 and knows all of his colors, can count 1-10, and converses well for his age. These are all things he could not yet do before he started at The Growing Room, I recommend this school to everyone I know!

From experiences I’ve had over the past two and a half years and comparing it to other centers that my children have attended, I would say it’s a mediocre establishment with some turnover issues. I get it, most daycare centers can charge a decent amount because you are putting your children’s lives in their hands but money drives this place. They definitely live by the letter of the law on the “handbook” and center guidelines when it comes to issuing additional fees. My kids made friends there and they enjoyed it some of the time, but as they’ve gotten a little older they have requested to go to a new center. That in my mind said quite a bit. The reception area has changed so much and nowhere near as good at communicating as it used to be. Regardless of an app and technology driven world, there is such a thing as customer service and being personable. I just felt as if my children were a cash cow to the industry and didn’t see much improvements at the center over their two plus years there.

My daughter has been with this center for only two weeks and our experience has been amazing. Her teachers Ms. Jazmine and Ms. Chelsea in the Infant Too room have done a great job with making my baby and I feel comfortable. I get updates on how she is doing throughout the day which has helped to make the transition from her old daycare seamless. I wish I had an extra star to give.

We have been at Growing Room at Bradley Park Drive for about 6 weeks now and have had a wonderful experience so far. We were very nervous about finding a daycare following our PCS here but they welcomed us with open arms and have taken great care of my 1-year-old. Mrs. Nakeisha in the Infant Too class is very warm and polite. I can confidently say that I trust her with my daughter’s well being while I am away. She also completes the most creative lessons with the kids!

Brittaney Haines is a none responsive CFE. We have left numerous calls and reports with her and received zero help or support, which includes safety concerns. The staff at Growing Room Too are great but the organization as a whole is purely about money. They do not care for their employees (extremely high turnover) nor do they care for their clients. The vacation "week" is very restrictive. We have been going to Growing Room for almost 6 years. We stopped for one month during the Covid pandemic and forced to sign on as a new clients. No leeway at all for our request 4 months later. The company will find a hidden clause to find a way to cheat you out of your money.
