Our son has been going to Sholeh's since he was 5 months old. Transitioning him (our first child) into daycare was easy as we felt immediately comfortable leaving him with Sholeh. Her home is a warm, inviting space that always smells like delicious home cooking as she cooks each meal for the children herself. My son smiles from ear to ear when he see her in the morning which makes leaving him for the day smooth and reassuring. It is clear that she truly cares for each child and the children really love her. She has a great outdoor space and always gets the children outside when the weather allows. I feel confident that my son is safe, happy and thriving at Sholeh's. 10/10 would recommend Happy Garden to anyone in the Portland area!

My son has been at Sholeh’s daycare since he was less than two months old. He’ll be two years old soon! He had some tricky issues with sleep and digestion when he was very young, but Sholeh worked with us every step of the way and has been communicative, flexible and patient as we’ve navigated the experience with our first child. She has treated us with respect every step of the way and offered us key insights from her 14+ years of professional childcare experience that have helped us at home too. Sholeh is frequently rotating activities and toys for the kiddos, cooks them homemade meals and snacks, and has a great outdoor play area too. Seeing my (then) infant smile and giggle as Sholeh greeted him with open arms warmed my heart just as much as watching my (now) toddler excitedly climb up her stairs and bolt through the door each morning. She has helped us raise our little boy into the incredibly happy, sweet and imaginative little toddler he is today and we’re so grateful to have found her daycare, as she feels like family to us now. Highly recommend Sholeh!!

My daughter has been going since she turned one. The owner is the sweetest person on earth and all the kids adore her. Especially my daughter. Highly recommend.
