We are so incredibly thankful for Hazel Christian Preschool on Oakdale Road! From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew this was a place filled with love, care, and a true passion for children’s growth and learning. Ms. Thompson, the owner, has created a nurturing environment that feels like an extension of home. Her vision for a safe, faith-based, and enriching space shines through every detail. Ms. Sanchez, the manager, brings this vision to life every day with her warmth, dedication, and exceptional leadership. She makes sure every child feels welcomed and cared for. The entire staff is attentive, kind, and truly invested in each child’s well-being and development. Our daughter Lana Alskaff absolutely loves her time here, and we’ve seen so much growth in her confidence, creativity, and social skills. The balance of academics, play, and faith-based learning is just perfect. We also appreciate the strong communication with parents and the flexibility they offer to accommodate families’ needs. Hazel Christian Preschool is a true blessing, and we couldn’t imagine a better place for our child to learn and grow. Went for a tour with my daughter, my daughter fell asleep on the way there, so it was a 10 minutes nap, which meant she missed out her nap fully, and was grumpy and tired because of it, we arrived there, I had to call twice to get someone to open the gate for us, the woman who did wasn't happy to do it , which was the first red flag, I arrive a security lady is there which was impressive, but again wasn't friendly, this a day care. We should smile with children, it's not a prison, a teacher comes in,she was out of the 3 the only one who greeted me and my parents, who came with me on the tour since they are possibly will be picking up my daughter in the future, she tried to take us a full tour , I can't deny that my daughter wanted to play I. The playground and cried when I tried to remove her from there, we went to class, kids were asleep ,school is clean, the class teacher was nice too, my daughter again saw Legos on the classroom table wanted to play I tried to hold her, she cried, and then another teacher in pink came I and started making faces and saying things to other teacher in class as if this is rude of us, or we woke up the kids, by the way none of them even blinked, and this is a day care please tell me you don't expect kids to cry when they are cranky , wow, saw all that. Still stayed respectful, asked the teacher doing the tour to email me the enrollment paperwork. She said she has my number and she will send all details and enrollment application, it's been 2 weeks never heard anything, I know they talked bad after we left, and this shows how unprofessional, and discriminating this whole experience was , not sending me anything to communicate with me , was disrespectful and they lost my business, happy my daughter will not have memories in a place like that

This was the first daycare my baby girl ever went to, she started at six months and from the beginning Ms Sanchez the director, went out of her way to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. My daughter loved her teachers Ms Vasquez and Ms Moa and honestly we always had a great experience with everyone in the baby room and anyone we encountered. She learned so much including sign language for "more", "milk", "want", "all done" and they always made sure she was in a clean outfit no matter how messy she got. They always provided updates on how her day went and offered advice to make her transition to daycare easier. They went above and beyond for our girl and we would have stayed forever if we didn't relocate back to Texas. Thank you Hazel's! The Soys for sure miss you all!
