The teachers and administration at Homewood ELC have helped our 1YO transition seamlessly to her classroom, after being in a nanny share previously. Her primary teacher is very attentive and offers us a lot of feedback, and the teachers plan coherent, fun themes and activities. We know that our child is very loved there and learning. Our child is happy each day, looks forward to going, and talks about her classmates and teachers by name. They have prioritized socio-emotional learning like naming the emotions and independence.

Absolutely amazing center. Steller childcare specialists who treat the children with such kindness and care. Play based, allowing kids to be kids while teaching them what they need to learn. They are so inventive with curriculum, activities, outings, and projects. They also get the kids outside all of the time and have a huge outdoor play area. My children have thrived here. It's also a warm community, and we've become close to many of the other parents and appreciate the events that bring everyone together.

Absolutely best daycare and preschool I have ever had! We have lived in several cities and had out children in daycares there -- including in New Haven, Boulder, Palo Alto -- and Homewood ELC is THE best. It's a nonprofit, the leadership is wonderful (they truly care about the children!!), and the teachers are loving, caring, knowledgeable, and there's very little turnover. Both of my kiddos who have passed through ELC have been always super happy to go to school. Can't recommend enough!

Our child has been at Homewood ELC for three years, and everyone in our family likes it. The kids get lots of time outdoors, the teachers are attentive and creative, and the music/food/other aspects really surpass expectations.

My 4 year old and 16 month old are here. They love it. The older one brings home art every day , loves the play based learning, and wants to stay here for kindergarten! Teachers are compassionate, take great care of the kids, and promote creativity. The outdoor space is amazing.
