Hope Early Care & Education Center

I am extremely upset and disappointed with the care provided at Hope Early Care & Education Center. In just two months, my two-year-old daughter has repeatedly come home with visible injuries, including deep scratches on her face not just superficial but deep. What’s worse is that we were not notified when these incidents occurred, nor did the staff seem to take any steps to properly treat or explain her injuries. As a parent, it is devastating to pick up your child week after week only to find they have been hurt while under someone else’s care. This is unacceptable. A daycare’s first priority should be the safety and well-being of the children it serves, and this center has failed in that most basic responsibility. To add to my frustration, despite calling itself an "education center," I have seen no signs of learning, structure, or activities that promote child development—whether cognitive, social, or emotional. My child has brought home no educational materials, and I have observed no progress or meaningful engagement in these areas. The name is misleading, and families deserve honesty about the quality of care and education provided. It is clear to me that the staff lack the training, qualifications, and genuine care required to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. I am both angry and heartbroken that my child experienced this. For parents considering this center, I strongly urge you to think twice and carefully evaluate whether this is the right place for your child. Safety, communication, and trust should never be compromised.

We are pulling our child this week from this YMCA due to well multiple incidents. It started with my child’s diapers and wipes going missing. Then my son broke his Tibia on the playground, wasn’t witnesses or caught on camera. He comes home with bite marks and bruises without incident reports. And now there’s a little girl who has been allowed to push and hurt the other 3-4 year olds. They said they have been doing what they can but nothing has changed in MONTHS. It’s to the point kids are all sitting together in pods while this one female runs around doing whatever. The teachers are overall good. We had an issue where I saw one of them grab my child from behind and scare him/ hurt him. I did report it and she had to go through “training”. We had a good experience in the very beginning in the infant rooms but most of the teachers that were good have left. No clue why…. But yeah:/ so is you have an option don’t go here. I work at Summa so this was very convenient but if I have to pay $230 a week for my child to not even be safe I’ll pass.

Horrible place and waiting to hear from legal department. After 6 months of waiting, there has been no call.

This daycare is great! Very clean and the staff are always awesome.

Horrible place to send your kids too and please don’t work there
