IUCC Early Childhood Center

We registered for IUCC ECC this year and it has been an amazing experience. Our daughter loves going to Preschool everyday, her teachers are warm and loving. She comes home talking about the different project focused units, she is learning so much! The Director and all of the staff are wonderful. We have enjoyed all of the events, communication, and opportunities to be involved at the school. If you’re looking for a small learning focused school that values kids, look no further!

If you’re looking for a preschool that feels like an extension of your family, IUCC is it! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and genuine care that sets this school apart. The small classroom setting creates a close-knit atmosphere where every child is known and cherished—not just by their teachers, but by every staff member, including the director, assistant director, and even the cook. It’s incredible to see how much they care, greeting us each morning with excitement as if they’ve been waiting all day just to see my daughter. The director, Sheila, is the most understanding and caring preschool director I’ve ever encountered. She truly adores the kids and knows every single one by name. Her genuine love for what she does is evident in every interaction, and it makes such a difference in creating a warm, supportive environment. My daughter begs to go to school every morning, and it’s easy to understand why. She’s thriving academically and emotionally, learning at an unbelievable rate. The individualized attention here is unmatched, and the staff is amazing at helping kids with emotional regulation while nurturing their unique strengths. Every child is truly seen and celebrated, and the sense of community extends to the parents as well—it feels like being part of a big, loving family. This school is hands-down the best-kept secret in Irvine. The exceptional care, personalized approach, and reasonable pricing make it an easy choice for any parent looking for the very best for their child. I can’t recommend it enough!

We our very happy with IUCC Early Childhood Center. When we began the search for our daughters first school experience our list was long, and although we liked many programs IUCC ECC stood out as the best choice for our 3 year old, who started Preschool in September 2024. HIGHLIGHTS: The curriculum is well-rounded offering project bassd learning. The school uses the ProCare communication system which allows us to be informed and engaged as parents. They serve a balanced organic menu that is made onsite not packaged and delivered which is included. The teacher's are highly experienced and loving. This small school packs a big delivey on quality and we feel lucky to have found it!

We really love this school! Our 2.5 year old attends iucc and he's genuinely excited to go every day. They just had a new director join and she's bringing in a ton of fresh ideas and overall great energy. The newly updated food menu with organic fruits/vegetables is awesome and I can't say enough about the teachers and staff. Everyone is very warm and caring. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter was enrolled here and we got a call one day stating that she was playing outside in the play ground and put multiple things in her nose and they took one out. When I went there and asked them "was she not being monitored" they said "yes but when we noticed something in her nose she might have a lot of other stuff per her nose too". I asked them if you were watching her all the time, how do you not know how many things she put in her nose. This made the manager very angry and She told me to get out of the school and kicked us out of the playground. She was extremely rude and condescending and she said you are banned from entering the school. I was asking her questions as a concerned parent because I believe what happened was due to negligence but she got defensive and literally shouted at me and kicked me off the campus. I believe there are too many children to teachers in this school and they are not being properly monitored. Many times my daughter's teacher was not present on pick up and she was being watched by other teachers. I think this school should be investigated ASAP and I took my daughter out immediately due to safety concerns. The manager there is extremely rude and condescending and I think she is racist too as she always had snarky comments for me and my wife (who wears a hijab) but was always very nice to white moms who were picking up their kids.
