Jackson Family Daycare

I cannot say enough good things about Jackson Family Daycare. It is high quality childcare in our area that you won't get at a big facility. The curriculum is actually directed towards learning, but is fun, and age appropriate. They also follow a routine and schedule. They play outside, and engage in fun art/sensory activities. It is clear Jeanna has so much experience with children, she is loving and welcoming. But is also able to handle behavior in a gentle, but firm manner. Darrel is also great with the kids and makes delicious food for breakfast, lunch and snacks. My daughter is very happy there. We are very happy with everything. Our second child will also start attending in the fall.

My son has been at Jackson family daycare for a year and a half and we have loved it. Jeanna follows a great learning curriculum with a different theme every month, and my son always comes home with art projects. He's gotten very good with counting and his vocabulary has grown tremendously. She also made potty training a breeze. I get updates on his activities and meals through the app every day and she even includes pictures. It's been truly great knowing my son is in good hands with people who really care about him.

My daughter has been attending Jackson Family Daycare for several years and has flourished there. She had a negative experience at another daycare and never adapted to it so after a few months we stopped sending her there. Thankfully we found Jackson Family Daycare and from the first time she walked in the door she was made to feel welcome and she took to the new routine very quickly. The atmosphere there is warm and loving and Jeanna and Darrell Jackson care for the children in a gentle but firm manner. They have an organized routine with story telling, fun and educational projects, daily indoor and outdoor playtimes, and nutritious meals. They have a variety of fun and engaging toys to play with inside that help develop motor skills, cooperative playing, and problem solving. The outdoor play area is a wonderful space with larger toys that encourage the children to use their bodies and develop strength and balance. All the toys, indoor and out, are clean and in good condition. My daughter starts kindergarten in the fall and is already talking about how she will miss Jeanna and Darrell and their two children. I am fortunate to have found this daycare and feel that it has had a very positive influence on my daughters development.

Jackson Family Daycare is great! Our daughter loves coming here everyday. They have a ton of activities to learn, as well as plenty of outdoor physical activity time. They provided us with a binder full of a year's worth of projects and acedemtic and socials assessments which was really great to see how far she's come. We hear about the "yummy" food that Chef Darrell prepped for them that. I definitely would recommend this day care to anyone.

This has been the most wonderful and loving atmosphere for my daughter. She loves her school and says she will graduate high school from here. Jackson Family Daycare provides a great learning environment and yet very attentive to emotional needs. This is definitely the best place we could have picked to transition from staying at home full time. Kids spend good amount outside and their yard is the perfect playground. Jeanna is great at communicating and provides photos and activities they do throughout the day.
