Took my mom there over a week ago for a tour. We were there for over a hour as I filled out and signed paper work. They said they just needed to get her medical records from her adult day in indy of 11 yrs. Well I have heard nothing from them! I have not had a break since we have moved back to lafayette. Lafayette has only one adult day center that accepts the waiver and that's joyful journeys. Joyful journeys also doesn't supply transportation which is something that is really needed. The waiver pays for transportation to and from adult day so I don't understand why they don't supply it! And why haven't they called me! The woman that runs the place says she knows the woman from the adult day in indy so this should of been took care of in a day or so. My mother needs this socialization she needs the activities cause I am a caregiver for 2 people I just can't find the time to give all that she needs. It's a nice looking place that's why I gave 2 stars.

Wonderful place...wonderful people. I bring my mother-in-law here and she can be incredibly difficult at times. She loves going to Joyful Journey and so has been very pleasant. She looks forward to her visits each week.
