My son went to Juniper Ridge 7 1/2 years. It has taken me 2 years to get behind myself to write this. His teacher being Blythe Rusling and a hand full of staff truly failed my son. I failed him as well for trusting that he would be taught and not left behind. When things get tough at this school this staff member along with a few others washed their hands and let him completely fall through the cracks. Sadly you keep a teacher for 5 years at this school, if they are good your blessed if not then what??? Absolutely nothing. I did have many meetings with staff and admin. On regular a basis but those meetings went absolutely nowhere. This child is one of 7 and truly the only one I feel a school has completely failed. I would do heavy research on your choice to take your child/children to this school. Not everyone has a teaching degree that teaches. If your child has any learning or physical disabilities their needs will not be met. My son is now getting all his needs met in a D51 school. He's no longer being pushed to the side or falling through the cracks. I know as his parent I'm not failing him anymore, I truly regret not being a bigger voice for him during his 7 1/2 years at Juniper Ridge community School.

I loved going there, the main issue is the trailers, and the fact they don't use technology. I had been given perms to be on a computer as writing was awful as I would get stuck making the perfect letter letter not 💌 it was so hard to hard in cursive, but using a computer and typing in general it flows. I had not been given a computer until seventh grade, it wasn't mine as I had to share it.

I went here from 7th to 10th grade and now am going to GJHS because the high school program has closed. I haven’t gotten my transcripts yet and found out that I haven’t taken all of the classes that I need to graduate and will be in a freshman class as a junior.

My children went to this school for three years and loved it! They would still be going if we didn't move across town. Awesome approach to education!
