Kettering Early Childhood Education Center

Really nice facility and environment! We loved the little "Post Office" in the lobby just inside the doors. The staff was very kind. My daughter didn't seem too thrilled about the whole experience, but I'm hoping her next visit will be better haha Also the Beavers seem to really like hanging out here 😆

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I am so shocked at the unfriendliness and lack of professionalism of the elderly woman working the front desk. Even another mom there for registration complained to me how rude the front desk woman was to her and I could tell she was very rude. The front desk woman was very rude to me too instantly but I brushed it off. My husband, daughter, and I arrived at 9am and had to wait till 11am to be helped. We waited very patiently and kindly. When it was our turn to be helped the front desk woman told me I didn’t fill out one short paper in the packet. I apologized and told her I must have missed that page on accident and I asked her kindly if I could just fill it out real quick. She then refused to let me and told us we will have to start the ENTIRE registration process all over again and even went into dramatic weird detail telling us to walk back to our car and get in it and wait an hour or more again and start the entire process all over again. Her coworker who also works front desk intervened and asked her why she won’t let us just fill it out real quick. The elder front desk woman then shook her head no aggressively and dramatically and still refused. I then told the elderly front desk woman that it would mean so much to me if she could kindly just give me a quick second to fill out the ONE piece of paper I missed. She then still tried to refuse even though her coworkers were telling her how wrong that is and I wasn’t even giving her any reason to be so rude and unprofessional towards us. She then huffed super loudly and angrily and said “fine .” Then she starred at me super angrily thee whole time I was quickly filling out the ONE piece of paper. My husband works night shift full time and gets home at 7am every morning so it would be devastating if we had to wait two more hours after waiting about two whole hours when he needed to get home and try to get some sleep before going back to work tonight at 4pm. I am so shocked that this woman was so mean to parents making them feel unwelcomed and terrible on what’s supposed to be an exciting day about your little one signing up for school for the first time ever. We weren’t even the only parents who felt like she was so mean and unprofessional for no reason. I’m glad I didn’t choose this location as a school preference. I refuse to send my child here ever with how mean and unprofessional and angry the staff is for no reason at all Also she also tried to tell us my daughter’s birth certificate is fake even though it’s the original copy and my husband had to intervene and tell her it is the original copy. Why is such a mean and unprofessional human working at a children’s school

Our 4 year old son goes to preschool here and he loves it. The teachers are very involved and knew a lot about him during parent teacher conference. The classrooms are well supplied and my son especially likes the emotional learning tools they use. There is a fun playground for recess. He enjoys the snacks and lunch there as well.
