Overall, not the best daycare.. speaking from an employees perspective and parent. Communication is not great between employees and admin. We are told to use our walkies yet most of the time no one responds to us even in urgent situations. As a parent, my child was not being watched like they are suppose to be. My child also came home with multiple injuries( not serious injuries) and I brought it up to the directors attention and I ended up getting cussed and fussed at and was told I could no longer check on my child throughout the day even though this daycare has an open door policy for ALL parents. I was told if needed “ I could be escorted to the bathroom to ensure I don’t go and interrupt my child’s and the teachers day.” Again, this daycare is suppose to have an open door policy for all parents but that was taken away from me to go in and check on my child. Mind you, I only went INTO THE CLASSROOM once a day, mainly just checked on him through the window on my bathroom break or lunch break. I will say a lot of the teachers are absolutely wonderful and treat the kids as their own but some aren’t putting the safety of the children first. There are a few other issues I’ve had at this daycare such as having admin sign my time card when I was out of town without my knowledge because it was due soon but other issues I won’t get into but just wanted to make parents and potential employees aware of these issues. To conclude, I ended up taking my child out of this daycare as I felt they were unsafe here at this daycare. I also had left because no paycheck is worth my child’s safety.

Couldn't ask for a better daycare for my kiddo! The director and staff are all amazing and always make sure my son is taken care of. He is always happy to go and smiling when I pick him up!

We’ve been at Kid City for around a year. We have had a great experience there and my child has grown tremendously during their time here. They are always happy when I’m picking up. The staff knows across the building knows my child’s name. We’ve been very happy in our experience and choice for childcare in Jacksonville.

Kid City has been a blessing! Amazing staff that treat my daughter like the princess she is, and the communication between staff and family is always top tier. There is always such a positive vibe as soon as you walk in the building and i’m always greeted with smiling faces. We are so thankful to be a part of the KidCity family!

Was our first daycare experience for our 2 year old. Communication was horrible, front office assistant was rude, and teacher did not communicate when our child was sick (just let her cry ALL DAY). They do not use the care app other than accepting payments of course, at least in my experience. Paid for "uniforms" that not one other child wore. The list goes in and on. I do not recommend.
