My son has thrived during his VPK year at this preschool, thanks to his amazing teachers Tracy, Amanda, and Ana who have shown incredible dedication and care. The leadership team, Kim and Dominic, has been exceptionally supportive and always accessible, creating a wonderful school environment. I've watched my son grow more confident and enthusiastic about learning, making great friendships and developing new skills every day. This preschool, with its outstanding staff and leadership, has exceeded my expectations, and I'm truly grateful for choosing this school for my child's early education journey.

I enrolled my son at Kiddie Academy on December 26, and I fell in love with the school. being able to watch my son live to see how his day was going was awesome. The front desk staff was very nice, as were my son’s teachers.
However, things took a turn on January 30 when I received a call from the front desk saying my 2-year-old son wasn’t listening. They wrote him up for climbing the shelves and throwing toys, including one incident where he reportedly pushed a toy off the shelves, which hit another child on the head. It’s important to note that my son didn’t do this on purpose; it’s just common behavior for toddlers.
While I was watching my son on the live feed, another child pushed him, and nobody did anything. Then, they called me to say my son took a toy from another child and scratched that child. This seemed strange, as my son doesn’t have nails, so how could that be possible? It felt like they were eager to find reasons to get my son out the school.
Then, on February 3, they called again, saying my son wasn’t listening and that they would have to dis-enroll him due to having too many write-ups. I was shocked. I asked how that was possible, given that I was only aware of the write-up from January 30. The lady on the phone claimed there were three incidents on January 31, but I was never notified about those. I suspect they actually wrote those up on February 3, not January 31, and lied about notifying me.
I was sick to my stomach at the thought of them kicking my son out for being a typical active 2-year-old, especially since he just turned 2 in December. They didn’t even honor their own policy about behavior and how to handle young children. Either the teachers cannot handle my son, or they are being unreasonable.
I sought advice from his doctor, who was equally appalled by the situation. She couldn’t believe they would kick him out, stating there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my son.
It's unreasonable to expect a 2-year-old to stop their natural behavior immediately; they are still learning. The doctor mentioned that kids between the ages of 1 and 3 are in a learning stage, which means they can be active and energetic.
Additionally, after looking at other reviews, I found that other parents have been in similar situations.

All 3 of my kids went here for VPK. I loved the staff and the directors. They hold several fun family events and do amazing crafts with the kids from mothers day and fathers day and they do a cute Halloween event.
