Kiddie Academy of Hamilton

**Pros:** I am very happy sending my child to Kiddie Academy Hamilton. I feel confident knowing she is in a secure environment, and her behavioral and knowledge development is progressing wonderfully. I’ve noticed that the teachers keep the kids engaged with various activities. As a stress-free mom, I can focus on my work. From the moment I visited the school, I knew it was the right place for my daughter. Another plus for a working mom like me is that I don’t have to pack lunch and breakfast, which is a huge time-saver. Additionally, all the children have the same meals ,the school is providing , which I really appreciate. **Cons:** For the last six months, I’ve noticed that she cries when it’s time to go to school. I’m not exactly sure why, but once she’s there, she is totally fine. It might be helpful to change up the toys or introduce more outdoor activities to give them more day-to-day joy.

First, let me start by saying that we're with KiddieAcademy of Hamilton for 5 years with 2 Kids now. My son graduated last summer, but my daughter is still attending full time. We have always felt that our kids are very well taken care of. We love the teachers and management staff and also that added layer of comfort, which the camera access provides for a sometimes nervous mom :) My son had IBHS when he started at 18 months. And the amount of support this center gave me when it was needed the most was incredible. Of course there have been minor issues along the way (how can it not in 5 years). But everyone was always very helpful and understanding and I never felt that any concerns or issues were just brushed of. In my experience they go above and beyond to make sure your child has a pleasant experience and is thriving. I also want to point out that the center was taken over under new ownership last summer. While we were super sad to see Pam and Kathy go, I think they did an amazing job picking new owners for the center. It’s been long enough now to really see that the values I always cherished here have not changed. Yes, there have been some increased staff turnovers after management change, but I also feel they did an amazing job in recruiting new teachers and we’re happy to see that a lot of the original teachers we knew are also still here. This center has been and is continuing to be the best decision I made for me and my kids

I had my son attend here till he was about 1.5yrs old. The staff was really great but I just asked to see details on the food serves and their team told me they didn’t have “the time” to share details on the ingredients in the food served. I am concerned that there are high-fructose, dyes, seed oils and other toxic additives in their processed foods served here. When asked for more details the team didn’t seem to care and mentioned that you can not bring your own food and there are only limited substitutions available. Given the transparency in Americas food diet and how harmful it can be for children this is a huge concern for me. I have also heard that a lot of the good employees are leaving given the new management.

This daycare is easily the best decision my husband and I made. Pam put us at ease from the very first day our son attended. We were already so nervous about switching daycares as we just moved to the area and we knew the transition would be tough for our son who had made so many friends in his previous school. I was nearly in tears the first day we dropped him off. Pam stayed with him to get him adjusted to the classroom and even checked in with me to let me know how he was doing. I love that at kiddie academy, our child isn’t just one of the many kids who attend this daycare. Many of the staff members know my son by first name and greet him whenever they see him. You can tell how much they care for each and every child in this school. I read countless reviews when deciding on a daycare for my child. I had literally lost sleep researching all the daycares in the area and reading reviews from other parents. I knew after we toured kiddie academy Hamilton that this is where our son would excel. He’s been attending for a few short months but WOW, we have seen such a huge change in him! He speaks more at home, has picked up so many new words and phrases and our once VERY picky eater (who would only eat goldfish and teddy grahams) was eating nutritious meals provided daily by the school and using utensils! Thank you kiddie academy Hamilton for giving our boy so much love and attention. We have nothing but praise for this school and the wonderful staff 💕

Kiddie Academy is a wonderful place for our daughter. Not only is she learning a ton, but her teachers and the administrators truly care about the children. I feel very safe having my daughter at Kiddie Academy in the midst of the pandemic. They adhere strictly to all guidelines and rules and have the welfare of the children always top of mind. We are grateful for the school and the relationships we’ve made there and would (and do) highly recommend.
