Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg

My daughter goes to this center after moving her from another center. I absolutely love this daycare and the staff. Ms.Monica and her teacher aide(I forget her name) are always so pleasant. I feel at ease when I drop my daughter off knowing she is in good hands!! She’s happy to go and happy when I pick her up. Cause legacy can be a handful:)

This center had the potential to be great but the owners and new director failed us. The owners stopped the reoccurring deep cleanings & were only getting the center cleaned once a week. Which resulted in an increase in sickness. Also, my son turned 1 in February and was unable to move to the toddler room. Although they were bringing new toddlers in! They began firing teachers during a time they were already short staffed and would often ask parents to keep their children home if they were able to because of this issue. I would not recommend this center at all. It’s on a spiral downward.

My son started at Kiddie Academy at 12 weeks old, as a first time mom I was so nervous to leave him but the teachers and staff have been so incredible every step of the way. Now at 18 months old my son loves going everyday. I am so impressed by how everyone knows all the students. I have never had a single concern for the care of my child.

My daughter has been attending Kiddie Academy for 8 months and has flourished academically and socially. Any concerns I’ve had and brought up to the director have been taken seriously and resolved. The admin staff are always welcoming and kind. My daughter has had several teachers, and for the most part, they have all been wonderful. Ms.Rose is a gem and truly cares for the children. Having camera access also gives us peace of mind. I would recommend Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg.

We just moved to Harrisburg, this is a place where I’m confident enough to say I feel safe going back to work. Kiddie Academy is amazing! The staff is caring and attentive, creating a safe and fun environment. My child loves going and has grown so much in confidence and learning. Great activities and excellent parent communication. Highly recommend!
