I truly have no idea how the school has almost 5 stars. I’m hoping this was just my experience but coming on here to share as I reached out to the owner directly via email, and after weeks of sending the email he did not even bother replying or acknowledging my concerns. Which just confirms my decision in removing my daughter was the best. I sent him the email that I will be pasting below. This is not necessarily to scare parents away, but just to speak on my experience and parents can see for themselves as they visit location or interact with staff. Funny thing is, I’m probably the most relaxed and chilled parent, but it just did not seem like the environment, I wanted to keep my daughter in. At this point I do not want any acknowledgment from the owner as he has plenty of time to at least send a courtesy response back. Below is a recap of the email sent. Had to be summarized as the original email would not fit here due to character limitation. Dear Syed, I hope you’re well. I’m Johanna, Evangeline Ramos' mother. After much consideration, I decided to disenroll my daughter from Kiddie Academy on November 3 due to several concerns. While the location was convenient, the services didn’t meet my expectations. Initially, I had a poor experience with Diane, the director, who was unengaged during our interaction and left me frustrated. The assistant director, however, was warm and welcoming, which made me feel more comfortable. Despite this, I was concerned about an incident where my daughter’s prescribed medication wasn’t applied as directed. This lack of attention to detail was unsettling. I also found the facility’s atmosphere to be uninviting, with dim lighting and a lack of energy. While I appreciated the teachers, including Miss Courtney, the overall vibe, especially in terms of curriculum and environment, didn’t seem nurturing or joyful for children. After careful consideration, I enrolled Evangeline at The Learning Experience, where the staff is more welcoming, the environment is vibrant, and the curriculum is more structured. My daughter has adapted well and is much happier, which reassures me daily. One suggestion I have is for staff to tour other centers for insight into how they present themselves, which could be beneficial for future improvements. I hope my feedback helps in improving Kiddie Academy’s services.

I originally was VERY nervous about putting my son in daycare. I visited about 7 daycares before enrolling him with Kiddie Academy of Islip. I chose the Kiddie Academy of Islip as they are close to home and the staff there really made me feel like this was the right place for us. During the walkthrough i was shown ALL rooms along with their outside area. Everything looked clean and the staff working with the children at that time seemed happy and attentive to the children (i saw no red flags). They explained how the day typically goes and showed me the room(s) that my son may be in. I was told no shoes were allowed in the infant rooms which im a fan of for obvious reasons and was told that they disinfect everything on the regular. They gave me any documents that i needed to fill out and even showed and explained the weekly menu to me. They were more than willing to provide me with any information that i requested, answered all of my questions, and seemed to be very organized with their processes. With all things considered i really do feel like this was the perfect option for us. The staff is AMAZING and so nice. They send pictures throughout the day and will call me with any questions or concerns (fever/sickness) they might have. If there are ANY changes regarding the schedule for that day, they post notices/announcements right away for all parents to see. The communication with them is great! I can call at any time and they always answer and have never made me feel like i was annoying them. They are always more than happy to help or answer my questions. My first week dropping him off, i was VERY nervous but staff really made me feel at ease. My son is actually very happy when i bring him there in the mornings and seems to love the staff as well. This puts me at ease and makes me happy as i know he is being cared for correctly and that the staff is showing him love and attention. His teacher Ms Rose is also amazing! Every time i pick him up, she gives me the rundown of the day with how he felt, ate, communicated with other children, and so on (even though they submit a daily report). This gives me more insight on his day there and makes me feel like i am not missing anything! You can tell that the staff here really cares for the children. Overall i am VERY happy with my decision of putting my son in this daycare. I am beyond happy with the way that my son is cared for and with the staff that works so hard to make his experience at daycare amazing. As a parent, i need to feel positive about the people he is around and the environment that he is in and the Kiddie Academy of Islip really does such a great job! I have built more trust in the staff every day that he has been there and i hope that this experience continues to be a pleasant one. I would 100% recommend The Kiddie Academy of Islip to any parent who is in need of childcare.

Kiddie Academy has been the best environment for my child. He was born with a chronic health condition and there was never a time the staff members were hesitant or intimidated on giving him the best of care so that he can grow seamlessly with the rest of his group. They maintained a complex medication regimen while still incorporating the educational program into my son's schedule. Kiddie Academy has played an instrumental role in my families life because of the first class care that has been provided to my son and i'll be forever grateful.

My daughter has been a part of Kiddie Academy for over a year now and I believe it is an excellent center. She's learning to read, making friends and is overall comfortable with the place. The director Jamie is approachable and correspond to parents everyday by email. Teachers are friendly and caring to the kids. The center's design is great being an open concept so you can see inside multiple classrooms. There is a small safe playground in the back for play in good weather. Overall, a great place for children to be.
