Kiddie Academy of Sanford-Heathrow

My 2.5YO had never been to daycare. We trialed a few (DO NOT go to La Petite. Danger!) and then tried here. She is in the older twos (Squids) classroom and absolutely LOVES her two teachers Miss Mina and Miss Kathleen. By the second week when we’d round the corner to the building she’d start singing “Miss Mina” and “Miss Kateen” from the backseat of the car. She’s excited to go to “school” every day. Even weekends she wants to go.

My older son went to the sister school in Longwood and we loved it. We moved and when it was time to enroll his brother I discovered this one nearby and was delighted be able to get him in. The teachers are kind, awesome, and truly caring. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My youngest now also loves going here.

Absolutely wonderful school! We love the thorough updates and recaps of our child’s day. Teachers and staff are so kind and are genuinely happy to see our son each day! We’ve seen so much growth in his development and we know their thoughtful and engaging curriculum is to thank :) we love Kiddie Academy!

At first glance. Seems like a good program. We did the enrollment and scheduled a 2nd tour to meet the teacher for our sons classroom. Call ahead of time to confirm best time to visit. Was told a good time. We showed up. Then were informed it actually wasn't a good time and our son was going to a different room. We expressed how that was different then what we talked about and enrolled him for. Miss Kim was so non-apologetic and passive aggressive in her response. We left and are choosing to enroll our son in a different program.

I love this place. The director ALWAYS makes time for my son, the front desk ladies are THE SWEETEST. They greet you and pay attention to your children too. Now here's the biggest part. Mrs. Lauren is the MOST awesome teacher I've encountered. She's very kind and patient and attentive. She will get down in the floor and play with the kids like they are her own. She doesn't pick at the kids for things kids do. I don't have any complaints about her. The lunch lady is my son's best friend. She is very sweet and knows my son by first name.
