As a Google guide, I had the opportunity to visit the Kids Can Community Center in Omaha during the Open Omaha event by OmahaBydesign on 5th and 6th August. The experience was truly awesome! The center is a fantastic space dedicated to serving the needs of children and families in the community. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff who welcomed me warmly. The center offers a wide range of activities and programs catering to different age groups, ensuring that everyone feels engaged and included. The facilities at Kids Can are top-notch, providing ample space for learning, playing, and socializing. From well-equipped classrooms and a vibrant play area to various recreational zones, it's clear that they prioritize the well-being and development of the children who attend. During my visit, I had the chance to witness some of the classes and workshops they offer. The instructors were passionate and dedicated, creating a nurturing environment for the kids to learn and explore their interests. Additionally, I appreciated the center's commitment to community engagement. They actively collaborate with local organizations and volunteers to enhance their programs and outreach efforts, making a positive impact on the broader community. In conclusion, Kids Can Community Center is a fantastic place that offers a wealth of opportunities for children to learn, grow, and have fun. If you're in Omaha and looking for a place that truly cares about the well-being of kids, this is the spot to visit. I would highly recommend it to families and visitors alike! #openomaha

They are encouraging racism having a black lives matter sign in their window. All kids lives matter not just black ones and that sign gives the message that only black lives matter! That creates division in a community

My 2 Sons have been attending Kids Can for almost 2 years now, I am very happy with the program they offer. Kids Can is so much more than just a "daycare" and more like a family. We enjoy every family night/holiday event they host for the kids and their families. They do so much with our school age child while he is out of school during the summer: field trips, movies, swimming, etc. The staff does such a great job interacting with the kids and keeping them busy and active. Kids Can staff has always been very passionate, attentive and eager to work with my boys anytime they have struggled with either behavior, learning, and transitioning between classrooms. I recommend Kids Can to all my family and friends with kids age 18 months + as we couldn't be happier with our experience! Such a great program!

My son has been going here since he was 3 he is now 9 and my daughter started as soon as she was old enough. I love that they are not just a daycare but a teaching facility as well. My son and daughter were ready for kindergarten with out having to go to a head start program. The teachers are all very kind and friendly and some have been there since my son started 6 years ago so we have a very good relationship. The summer activities they do with the kids is wonderful since I am a working mother I don't get to do as much with them as I would like but am very glad they still get to experience them with there friends. Another thing I love is they offer tutoring if your child needs extra help and a mentoring program for the older children. My son is involved in both of those and he LOVES when his mentor comes every week. I have never had a bad experience with this facility and would recommended it to anyone looking for a place to take there children.

My daughter attended Kids Can at age 4. She was there around 4 hours each day. I feel it is such a great program for her and other children. The teachers are caring towards the children. The kids really interact with each other during the class. The class she was in was great. They teach colors, numbers, writing your name, etc. It really helped her expand her knowledge. I appreciate everything Kids Can has done for my daughter and I have recommend this facility to others. The staff is always kind and always willing to help if any questions I had. My daughter always enjoyed going and I do use Kids Can for summer and days off from school. Check them out!
