My kids had the privilege of being cared for here for years. It's like family, birthday parties, home cooking, decorations for holidays. Highest possible recommendation. The only sad thing is that my youngest is about to be school age and won't get to go as much.

Debbie is the best you will find in daycare providers. She has been in business for over 20 years and has said she cares for them like they are her own kids, which I’ve seen day in and day out. My daughter comes home with crafts and new books to start learning to read. She lives right next to the elementary school and drops the kids off and picks them up every day and has a strong relationship with the school. They know her by name. If there is an emergency, she will be at that school quicker than any parent ever could. Not only that but she has an amazing set of toys for all ages and a perfect backyard with playground and outdoor toys. She helps potty train the kids, take care of them, and teach them before they get into elementary school. My daughter came home knowing math! And I’ve never taught her any math before! So it’s pretty cool. You get personalized care from someone who cares about your kids as her own, and convenience with the school. It’s the best setup ever.

Ms. Debbie and Mr. Rick are more than babysitters, they become family if you are lucky enough to enroll your child here. They give exceptional care and love to the kids in their home. Lots of toys, patience, guidance, and space for outside play. Plus, they’re right behind Mullenix Elementary for walking the older kids to school. We absolutely love them and I feel relieved knowing my child is in their care when I can’t be with them.

Kids Will Be Kids is the ultimate gem for childcare. There is something extraordinarily special about Debbie and the magical world she creates in her home for children. Our son wakes up every morning excited to go play and learn in his wonderland. We love the name of Debbie’s place because literally, kids get to be kids, and we admire how much imagination shines through and the hands on learning that happens.
The children eat so many homemade meals they get to help prepare. Everyone gets their own special birthday party. There are many themed parties throughout the year and summertime is so fun! Outdoor play is far from limited all year long. Lesson plans are creative and often include crafts - again lots of hands on learning!
Everyone who attends are good friends, regardless of age. They all grow together, play together and teach each other and it’s so cool to watch the older kids integrate with the littles as heroes and mentors.
Finding a safe and loving environment for our children is an extremely high priority, as I am sure for any parent. Debbie and her family have become our family and I know our son is ultimately getting the best care and needs met in their hands. It’s such a nurturing and an incredible place to grow up. I highly recommend Kids Will Be Kids.

Kids Will Be Kids (KWBK) daycare is a great place with a nurturing environment. We have three sons, one still attending, that have received nothing but kindness, understanding, and attention to them as individuals in the last seven years. KWBK has accommodated us when our schedules change and on an emergency basis, each time with open arms and understanding. The children have individual birthday parties, participate in holiday parties, are free to bring and share toys from home, and provided with multiple interactive toys, games, and experiences. They have a great backyard playground with a wooded backdrop, plenty of fresh air, and free of noise pollution. Billing has always, in our seven years of going there, been up front and easily explained. Prices are fair and comparable to other daycare settings but I believe the service received is beyond that of other providers. Policy is set out in an easy-to-read and neatly put together handbook.
To address a reviewer and her accusations of “fake reviews”, I invite anyone to reach out to me through Google and ask me directly about our experience with Kids Will Be Kids. None of our sons would be considered low energy or docile by anybody’s definition. All three are active in sports and quite rowdy if allowed to be. The difference is they learn at home to respect rules, listen to adults, and follow direction. This carries over to the daycare environment when they know that mom and dad expect them to listen to Mrs. Debbie and Mr. Rick. Any child that cannot or will not follow direction, and then has a parent reinforce that behavior and undermine the provider, will not be long at any establishment.
Two daycare providers expelled our oldest son prior to finding KWBK because of a well-documented developmental disorder; we even tried a nanny for some time and that did not work out either. Unfortunately, this meant our youngest at the time had to leave too. These were center-based providers with many children and I do not believe they were able to attend to our oldest son’s needs well enough to prevent the outbursts he was prone to at the time. Debbie listened to our story and accepted our sons knowing that our oldest had an issue that resulted in behavioral outbursts. This ended up being the best decision we could have made and our sons received exceptional care in a loving and accepting environment. I believe this environment helped allow him get through his anxiety and develop into the well-rounded young man he is becoming.
Our middle son is the easiest to direct and other than being loud at times, never really rocked the boat. He still had plenty of fun while there and enjoyed learning and playing.
Our youngest, three, still in attendance has been described by friends and family as “Evil Knievel in a diaper” since about eight-months old. He rarely naps and is so high-energy he usually wears out kids that try to keep up with him. He can climb anything, is fearless, can be the loudest child if allowed to be, and is the most obstinate child you may ever meet. The difference again, we expect him to follow directions at home and at daycare. We support KWBK and reinforce to him that they are in charge while he is there.
Talk to Debbie and go see the place for yourself. Talk to the many parents that are happy with their child/children going there. I think the consensus will be overall satisfaction.
