KLA Schools of Boynton Beach

We have had our daughter at KLA in Boynton Beach for the past two years and we love it! I’ve actually been heart broken that we will be leaving in the fall since she is graduating PreK this month. We started our daughter when she was 2 due to dad working from home and mom traveling for work 3 days a week. It was a hard decision but Dena and all of the teachers have made us so thankful to have found them. Our daughter LOVES going to school. She not only plays she LEARNS. Her vocabulary, her knowledge, her artistic abilities have grown so rapidly since she’s been there. Our daughter loves her days there that she is always surprised when we get there being more than content to keep playing with her friends and staff. KLA is clean, friendly and truly the greatest school we could have picked for our family.

This school has been EVERYTHING for our family. We are so grateful to have found KLA. The teachers and admin team are so caring and even know the names of my older children who don't attend the school. We toured other schools in the area and none of them compared to how we felt at KLA. The school is clean, full of beautiful materials and all of the teachers we have encountered are warm & caring. Our interactions with the front desk and administrators are friendly and kind- they always ask about our day, our weekend, etc and seem very invested in everything happening at the school. Most of all, my son is happy to go to school every day, and I have peace of mind that he is well taken care of and thriving.

We felt compelled to write a review based on the outstanding experience we have had at KLA Schools. We noticed a review was left full of negativity and we could not disagree more. We not only have had the same teachers throughout the entire year that have been excellent, but Ms Dena has also been outstanding with accommodating my husband's health needs so that our son could continue having an amazing experience at school. He has thrived socially and academically. That would not have been easy without his wonderful teachers. This is truly a fantastic school and we will be sad when it is time to move on to kindergarten.

Our son has been enrolled at KLA Boynton Beach for over three years, starting when he was just over three months old. In the beginning, we truly loved the school. Under Miss Terri’s leadership, it felt warm, consistent, and professionally run. Miss Martha, who worked with the infants, was exceptional and played a huge role in our decision to enroll. Back then, the staff felt experienced and connected to the families. Unfortunately, the school has changed significantly, especially under the new director, Dena. This past year has been the most difficult for us. Staff turnover has been constant—teachers come and go without any communication to the parents. At the beginning of the year, I met a lovely teacher at open house, only to find she was gone within a few weeks. No notice, no introduction to the new teacher—just a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. Most concerning was the lack of support during our son’s potty training. We had specifically communicated, multiple times, that we needed the daily progress reports updated for medical reasons, especially so we could track bowel movements. Despite stressing the importance and necessity of this, the reports were rarely, if ever, completed accurately. It was frustrating, disappointing, and inexcusable. There’s clearly a lack of training and support among the staff, and it reflects in the daily operations. Given how expensive KLA is, it simply doesn’t live up to the high expectations or reputation it once had. It’s a real shame, because it used to be a place we felt proud to be part of. We hope the school can take a serious look at its leadership and staffing issues, and return to the quality and care that originally set it apart. Until then, we can’t recommend it to other families in good faith.

What a blessing the school has been to our family. Everything about it from choice of teachers, classroom organization/schedule, atmosphere and just peace of mind that the school truly knows and understands the children is top notch! I have never been able to walk away every morning after drop off from a school with as much comfortability as KLA Boynton. Ms. Dena is such an amazing director who keeps her staff in check and always reassured me of any doubts I ever had about anything along the way. Thank you for caring about our children so much!
