Knox Way KinderCare

We love Knox Way KinderCare! We are so happy with our one-year old son's teachers in the toddler room - Ms. Cruz and Ms. Alyssa! They do an excellent job of keeping the kids engaged in a variety of activities and providing them with learning opportunities, socialization, and language development. I can tell that they truly care about our son and his well-being. Our son loves to go to day care and interact with his classmates and explore all of the books and toys. On the days that he's having a rough morning or feeling some separation anxiety, they happily receive him open arms, which makes the transition easier. I love the monthly curriculum themes and all of the art projects the kids do. I also really appreciate getting all of the photos, videos, diaper changes, and meal updates through the app. It makes me feel connected to my son throughout the day, and it puts a smile on my face to see him happy and active. The new director, Ms. Catina, and new assistant director, Ms. Tee, are superb leaders. They have incorporated a variety of programming, from weekly water play days to a magic show to a visit from a fire truck. They also host events/celebrations that include families. Ms. Tee is always there to greet us in the morning and is genuine and kind. Thank you for creating a nurturing environment for our son!

Our daughter started going to Knox Way KinderCare in March 2025. I had no complaints when my daughter first started. She was being taken care of and was having a good time socializing with the other children. Over the last four months, the directors and teachers have been putting in lots of time and effort to make KinderCare more special. They have been adding their own personal touch to the KinderCare, with decorations around the building to make it feel more welcoming. It seems like I notice one more additional decoration that I haven’t noticed before when I drop off my daughter. Also, when I come in, the staff always welcomes both me and my daughter. Even teachers that aren’t in the same room as my daughter know her name, which makes it feel more like a family environment. My daughter has grown to trust her teachers, and I really enjoy seeing how they comfort her while she is going through her separation anxiety phase. My wife and I are both very thankful for the teachers and directors at KinderCare. We are both at peace knowing that the staff at KinderCare are with our daughter and that she is learning and playing with other children. The effort they have put in on making KinderCare feel more special for families has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for all you do and for teaching our daughter!

We absolutely love KinderCare at Knox Way! From the moment we toured the center, we were impressed by how clean, organized, and welcoming the environment was. The management and staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely care about the families. One of the things that stood out to us right away was the transparency and clear communication. We receive daily pictures, videos, and detailed updates about how our grandson is doing, which brings us so much peace of mind. It’s been two months, and every day we are greeted by name. The staff always asks how his night was and if there’s anything they should know to better support him that day. The curriculum is excellent, with engaging monthly activities, Spanish on Wednesdays, and even sign language for the little ones—which has been so helpful since our grandson is only one. Water play Wednesdays are his favorite! They also recently held a Father’s Day event with food and games, which was such very thoughtful. We toured several centers before choosing this one, and it was the combination of cleanliness, friendly staff, and strong curriculum that won us over. His grandmother has over 20 years of childcare experience and I can say she’s very particular and couldn’t be more pleased. They truly make us feel like family. We read the previous reviews and were initially hesitant, but we’re so glad we took the time to tour and meet the new management and staff. KinderCare at Knox Way has exceeded our expectations in every way.

In the beginning I was very skeptical about bringing my daughter to Knoxway Kindercare..... I'm so glad I did ....My daughter has been enrolled in Kindercare since April and the experience has been wonderful.. She really enjoys being there and being around the other children. The staff there has been so welcoming to her.!!!! The building is clean and the atmosphere is amazing...

Our son has been enrolled at Knoxway since Jan 2025. Things got off to a rough start, but with a change in center leadership and a few teachers things have dramatically improved! The cleanliness of the center has improved a lot! The staff is welcoming, warm, and communicate well in person and via the app. The children all seem very happy and well taken care of. The new staff truly care about each child, the center, and the families. Our pre-schooler has thrived socially, emotionally, and educationally in the past few months. He quickly adjusted to this center, and even wants to stay longer when we come to pick up. He has friends that he talks about at home and even asks about school and his teachers on weekends. There are several negative reviews posted, but those are from the time of the previous center leadership. As a highly educated, slightly over protective mom of a preemie, I am very selective about who cares for my child. During the change in leadership we considered leaving. I’m so glad that we stuck through the transition and gave the new leadership a chance. We choose to have our child in preschool here because we believe in what the new director and asst. director are doing to improve this center. I truly believe that in the next 2-3 Knoxway will be an outstanding center under the leadership of Mrs. Catina!
