La Petite Academy of Midlothian

I want to express my appreciation for Mrs. Copeland and Mrs. Salas, who have demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warmth. They provided a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel secure as I embarked on my childcare journey at La Petite Academy. Our daughter went here from about 6 months of age until she turned three. We can’t speak highly enough about this place. From the leadership to the individual teachers, our daughter received so much love and for that we are forever grateful. Thanks in part to La Petite, our child exceeds all of the milestones, speaks in full sentences and eats a wide range of foods. We will be sending our next child here without question.

The leadership here does not have the child's or the parents best interest. They are here to protect and cover themselves only. My daughter was injured on the playground because she was not being supervised at all. This is a facility that promotes their cameras, however, for whatever reasons they came up with we were unable to see the footage of the incident. There was absolutely no one in leadership not the director or the district manager that tried to rectify the situation or ease our minds as parents that this is something that they take serious. We did not get an apology from the district manager she was more concerned with disenrolling us than anything. It was a terrible experience to say the least. Before this incident I had a hard time connecting with the director or most of the staff because they were not welcoming or friendly. Renata, the director, has a very apathetic attitude and so does her boss Kayla.

My 1.5 year old has received wonderful care at La Petite. The teachers are so very caring and have taken a very personal interest in my son. The teachers and staff treat us like family, which is rare to find. We moved to Midlothian from out of state and they helped my young son adjust and adapt to new surroundings and experiences with ease. I'm so grateful for the care they provide. The longer hours is also a blessing as both my husband and I work extended hours. I highly recommend La Petite at Old Hundred Rd, particularly for the toddler age range.
