La Petite Academy of Newington Forest

We had our infant daughter in La Petite starting at 5 months and had a wonderful experience. All of the teachers in the infant room are incredible - they are kind, attentive, and it’s clear they love what they do. Administration is responsive, helpful, and great to work with. We were sad to leave and only transitioned schools for ease of commute for my husband and I. Highly recommend LPA’s infant program!

My son has attended the La Petite Academy on Redman Street since he was four months old and we couldn't be happier with the school and its teachers. In his time at the school he has moved from the infant room up through the toddlers room and in with the two-year-olds and all of the teachers and staff have been exceptional. The school is bright and clean, and there is good communication between the staff and parents. In addition to being a wonderful person and educator, the director Rose, is a certified EMT. It is clear that the entire staff works together to ensure that the children who attend are very well cared for and safe. Additionally, this La Petite is absolutely a school that fosters learning and where the children enjoy spending their day, it is so much more than a "daycare."

My daughter was here for 2.5 years the infant classroom was wonderful trouble started when she transitioned to junior toddler classroom where they wouldn't change her diaper, she would come home with a bad diaper rash at least once per week and we had to complain multiple times and it only ended when the other staff had to go hourly to make sure she was being changed. She changed classrooms again where she was being hurt by another child and kept coming home with big scratches since they couldn't watch her and keep her safe we got her out. She is at a smaller daycare now and so happy.

Both of our children have attended La Petite Academy over the past year. As a military family, we have had many transitions and many care givers, but none are as caring, reliable, and skilled as the staff at La Petite. We are thankful to have the teachers and staff in our life. m.

This is a preschool where all of the teachers that my kids have interacted with honestly care. My kids have been going here for 2 years now and they enjoy it. As a parent on the move, I need to know and trust the people who are caring for my kids and I feel very comfortable with this group. They also have a drop-off and pick-up service for the local public schools so I can drop everyone off in the mornning at the same time and pick them all up at the same time. This is very convenient. The price seems a bit high but you get what you pay for.
