We started sending our two little girls here a few months ago, around the time the new director started. Since we started, we have seen a lot of great improvements at the center. The new director is really knowledgeable and kind. She has been receptive to any issues we've had and has been very accommodating. Our girls also love their teachers. They have had the same teachers since we've started but also some new faces have joined the team as well. Every single teacher in the building knows me and my children by name and they greet us warmly every day. My children went from crying at drop-off when we started to not wanting to leave at the end of the day because they are having so much fun!

I had an agreement for drop-in care with patrice before they fired her and amber. They unenrolled my kid without reaching out to us and tried telling me my kid was 13 and then tried playing it off like they do that so we don't get billed weekly. Before twanna or whatever her name is even became "assistant director", i NEVER got billed for weeks my kid wasnt there. Needless to say, I did not receive a refund for the time I paid for and cannot use since my kid isn't enrolled but they want me to pay another enrollment fee? Ha! The constant last min you need to keep your kids home or pick up early because of staffing was annoying. They charge too much to be so unorganized, and the turnover is wild. My kid was always sick when he went there, and I mean ALWAYS. I witnessed an infant teacher very abruptly sit a baby on the floor that was crying in such a manner that I reported it, and they told me, "That doesn't happen here." Customer service keeps you on hold forever and then tells you to call your location. No one at the location calls you back or you get bs answers to call customer service because they "don't know." Find somewhere else. There are better, more affordable options.

I never feel fully comfortable dropping my child off without the concern that I may have to leave work and return due to an unexpected issue. Most recently, when the A/C broke, I was told to pick up my child less than three hours after drop-off instead of him being placed with the other kids. This caused me to miss a full day of work and counting.
I pay full tuition every Monday without any assistance or vouchers, and I expect a level of consistency and support that reflects that. More importantly I have paid extra fees for “wonder camp” that my child is also missing out on. Yet, I’ve never been offered a partial refund or credit when my child misses time due to circumstances on the center’s end. It’s frustrating to pay in full and not feel like I’m receiving the full value of what I’m paying for.
I hope this can be addressed moving forward, and that fair solutions are considered when situations like this arise. However I would not recommend this center to anyone.

If I could give this place less than one star, I definitely would. I was an infant teacher there, and I was there for almost 2 years, I saw 3 directors in the time frame being there. Plenty of teachers came and went while I was there as well. It's just crazy how that place is still running. I don't understand. The directors who temporarily take over and come they are the worst they talk to you like you are less than human. They turn around and want to play victim when it comes down to you, vocalizing the care of the children. The school stays at a ratio, so beware. Your child will be pushed from class to class if they're an infant, they'll be in the toddler classroom if they're a two-year-old, they'll be in a three's classroom and so forth. They had great teachers there, but the directors have pushed them away. I could go on and on about this place, but just beware and don't enroll.

My daughter was enrolled since last November and it is very sad how far downhill the school has gone. They are on their 3rd director and my daughter has had at least 7 teachers come and go. They have been struggling to meet ratio requirements for a while and the facility seriously needs cleaning and remodeling. During my daughter’s last week they lost half their staff, causing them not to allow me to check her into class for the day. That is completely unacceptable. Just as it is the parents responsibility to pay the tuition, it is the facility’s responsibility to ensure they have adequate coverage. It’s hard to assign blame since they have such a big issue with turnover, but if La Petite does not make an effort to address these issues I wouldn’t be surprised if the Six Forks location is shut down. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the positive experience we had early on and the effort we see from the teachers who are clearly suffering with the terrible management. If you have other options for childcare I would encourage using them.
