La Petite Academy of Santa Rosa

My son started daycare at La Petite when he was 5 months old, and although it was so hard to be away from him at first, the staff at La Petite immediately became a second-home for him. He thrived, received so much love and attention from Ms. Janet and Ms. Kat, and I couldn't have felt better about my choice to send him here. This is truly the best spot in Santa Rosa for young children, and I would recommend LPA to any of my friends and family looking for an outstanding daycare. Thank you for everything!!

I saw a child crying, Standing just beyond the camera’s view. No arms to hold, no voice to soothe — But I stayed silent. He wasn’t mine. I heard a teacher shouting, Not at my child, but at another’s, Words sharp as winter wind. Still, I stayed silent. Mine was not the one in tears. I saw rough hands where kindness should be, Frowns where patience should have lived. But I stayed silent, Believing — foolishly — That mine would be the exception. I watched them fight over toys for far too long, No one stepped in. I saw my child grow fearful, Then angry. I saw the bruises. I saw the fear. And when I spoke, The director met me with a shrug. And the very next day — My child was hurt again and again. I watched them try to solve Not the problem, But the one who dared to name it. Perhaps you were drawn by the bright rooms, The security of cameras, The illusion of safety. But behind those lenses, When you’re not watching, Lies neglect wrapped in routine, And harm disguised as care. Don’t come here. Don’t let your child be just another silence. They deserve gentle hands, And voices that lift, Not break. Find better. Because they deserve better.

We absolutely recommend La Petite Academy in Santa Rosa for anyone who’s looking for the best care for their little ones. My son was in their infant room from 4 months - 12 months. The only reason we left was due to moving across the country (I cried at pick up on his last day bc I was so sad we were leaving here). We absolutely LOVED all of the teachers there, Ms Janet and Ms Katarene were his main teachers and they were phenomenal. My son loved spending his early mornings with Ms Melissa and Ms Amita. He also loved learning lots of pickleball skills from Ms Kathy. I couldn’t have asked for a better daycare staff to take care of my son.

All 3 of my children attended daycare here and we had an incredible experience! The teachers are amazing and the care and attention they give the children is unmatched. Some of my kids’ favorite people are their teachers and I am grateful they loved my kids like their own. The STEM curriculum employed here prepared my kids for public school and they were developed so far and above their peers without similar daycare experience. My kids were noticeably more advanced in social, emotional and physical development as well as behavioral skills and I attribute the majority of that to La Petite Academy’s curriculum and excellent staff. The facility is also incredible! The outdoor playground is one of the best I’ve seen in a public daycare setting and my kids love outdoor time at school. There is a lot of attention to cleanliness inside the classrooms as well which is great for kids to be learning at such a young age. The classrooms are always clean despite being filled with children and the emphasis on hygiene is great! Highly recommend!

My husband and I enrolled our daughter at La Petite Academy when she was just 12 weeks old, and as hard as it was leaving her at such a young age, we couldn't be happier with our choice. The care provided by Ms. Janet and Ms. Kathy has been exceptional. They are not just caregivers; they are nurturing, patient, and genuinely invested in our daughter's well-being and development. We are so, incredibly grateful for them and everything they do. Communication is key for us, and we've been impressed by how well the teachers and management keep us informed about everything happening with our daughter and at the school in general. We appreciate the consistent and timely updates we receive throughout the day on their app. It's incredibly reassuring to get photos and updates on our daughter's activities, meals, and naps. It makes being away from her much easier knowing she's in good hands and having a great time. The dedication of the staff, especially Ms. Janet and Ms. Kathy, is unmatched, and it is clear that they love what they do and truly care about the babies. Despite the busy schedule of attending to all of the babies needs, the teachers still manage to do fun and developmentally engaging activities like art, music, and playing outside. We have also had the opportunity to meet and get to know the teachers from other classrooms as well. Ms. Lynn, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Ranee, Ms. Amita, Ms Lorhanda, and the director Sarah, as well as some of the other teachers have all helped out in her classroom and we have only positive things to say about all of them. We are confident that as our daughter moves up into older classrooms, that she will be just as happy and receive the same level of care that she has already received in the infant room. I really cannot say enough kind words to show how grateful we are to LPA and all of the amazing staff. Overall, we highly recommend La Petite Academy to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing environment for their child.
