La Petite Academy of Sarasota

My son is 6yrs old and has been attending during the school year when public school is closed and now for summer camp, he is making new friends which is exciting to see plus the on-site field trips have been amazing! Thank you La Petite Academy! Side note whoever he talks about the school he says the full name, I had fun at La Petite Academy, make me smile! That’s all we want for our children! Fun, learning and friends!

My daughter absolutely loved attending VPK here as well as preschool! She loved having Ms. Melinda as her teacher and the director Ms. Michelle has always been so very helpful. My daughter has learned so much since attending and her reading skills have improved so much. You can watch your child on the live camera through the sprout about app and the teachers also post what they are doing throughout the day which is an awesome feature. We had a great experience here and will be sad to leave in the fall. I highly recommend La Petite Academy if you are looking for a safe, loving environment for your child to attend.

My son has been attending for almost 2 years now. He started out in the infant room when he was 6 weeks old. The teachers Ms Kate and Ms Lucie in the infant room have been incredible care takers. They really helped relieve the nervousness of being a first time mom with your first child going into child care. They have a camera system that allows you to check in on your child while they are checked into the center for the day which has made me feel so much more comfortable. The front desk staff Michelle and Melissa and formerly Kim have been wonderful too. They always help you with whatever questions or concerns you have. The only minor problems I have had in the time my son has been there is I’ve had bottles go missing that were taken by another parent, the staff would reach out to that parent and kindly ask them to bring it back and they never did. So make sure to keep track of your belongings. I would definitely recommend this place to other parents.

My daughter has attended La Petite for almost 3 years and our experience has been great. She has learned so much and has gotten so close to not only her teachers specifically but other staff members who have helped out in her classrooms from time to time as well. Any time we have had any issues (hardly ever) management has addressed them immediately and resolved. My daughter loves her school so much she is so happy every day when I pick her up, she says byeee La Petite and when we drive past on the weekends she always waves and yells “Hiiii La Petite, see you Monday!!” These teachers are my child’s favorite people in the world and have made such an impact on her life and we will forever be grateful for them. La Petite is definitely her happy place and I feel comfort in knowing how safe and comfortable she feels there❤️

my daughter has been here since Dec 23 and seems to love it - talking nonstop now, making friends, learning a lot. she is excited when i drop her off at “school.” :) if she’s happy, i’m happy! staff is friendly and flexible. we also appreciate the app with daily updates / live camera.
