My experience at La Petite has been wonderful. I enrolled my 16 month old 8 months ago and he's acclimated well. They helped him adjust to napping on his own after he'd co-slept his entire life and they navigated his behavioral problems well. I occasionally watch him on their live cameras throughout the day and he usually seems engaged and entertained. They track all of their daily activities in their app and provide photos and videos of some of their activities. My son took a special shine to Ms. Katie (who has gone above and beyond and even checked on him when he was out sick) and Ms. Kaylah. Ms. Lala greeted us every day on our way to his class. He's recently transitioned into the next class and seems to be doing well with his new teachers and class too. The only downside I've found is that the drop off time seems extremely inflexible, and I can understand the reason, but it can make scheduling appointments difficult on months he has already had to be out a lot due to illness.

ONLY good thing about this daycare is Lanecia (Mrs Lala, what my son calls her). She gets a 5 star. So glad my season with this daycare is almost up. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS here. Update. They don’t abide by vouchers. My voucher starts at 7am I was told today when I came to drop my son off that he couldn’t be dropped off before 8:00. MOST IMPORTANT INFO. They DO NOT have set times and make up the times that they are not open and close early. My son was pulled and dragged by one of the teachers and they just swept it under the rug and did nothing about it. After I addressed the situation the staff specifically the non educators would try to be malicious. I’m a God fearing woman so negativity rarely phases me but these people are so unprofessional I have to warn people. I have attached a photo of how they give out the dates that they are closed and out early. Today is MONDAY 12/23 and they choose to tell me when I drop my son off that they will be closing early today. THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS THAT WORK AND PLAN AROUND THEIR CHILD

My 2 year old has been here a few months however I came across hard times when my then 9 month old health issues increased and I was made to quit my job. Till then I was paying weekly tuition on time. When I did fall on hard times I let them know verbally and on their app when I would be able to pay. Not only did I pay what was owed I then paid two weeks advance. They have this rule where your child can't come until you're up to date on pay. Which I completely understand, what I believe is unprofessional is instead of calling me or responding to my update on the app and letting me know I would've to pay something to keep my daughter spot. They didn't not had a meeting yesterday without my knowledge or speaking to me to drop her. When I paid yesterday. When I tried to drop my daughter off I got we didn't know she would be here she can't stay call back in a hour. Very unprofessional, no communication at all. Lately my daughter receives interventions, very hard for her to work on her goals there I was asked off she could come a little late. I was told no. If your child receives OT, PT in home it they can travel to the facility. I wouldn't have your child go here. They don't have a separate area and all kids swarm you. Kids will be kids. However, this facility isn't outside intervention friendly neither. Consider your options. I wouldn't have made this terrible review if leadership would've responded and/ot communicated what could happen. Horrible experience with daycare facility for the first time!

This daycare has been a saving grace, the first daycare my daughter was in was terrible. The teachers at Children’s courtyard in Harrisburg were over worked and lacked focus. The leadership was even worse from communication to caring about parents concerns. La petite has been nothing but amazing. Admin is always available and helpful, removing any concerns I have at that moment. The teachers are caring and invested in the children’s development. They spoil the kids with attention and care, anytime I check on my daughter she is being well taken care of. It truly takes a village and I couldn’t thank them enough for how much they have helped my daughter and I. I’ve visited a lot of daycares in the area, there not one I’d choose over La Petite.

This school took our son in when we were desperate for care. He was removed from his previous daycare due to behavioral issues and when we warned La Petite about that, they didn't shy away from him. What we didn't expect was that he really thrived under their care and all of the issues the previous school claimed he was doing and essentially traumatized us about, La Petite said and showed that those things weren't happening. 1 incident in the 2 months he's been in their care compared to daily reports we were getting from the previous location. We can never repay them for showing us that our little boy wasn't the monster the last place made him out to be and if we weren't relocating across the country we would absolutely be staying. The staff is friendly but most importantly the teachers are amazing and actually care about the kids. That will definitely be the hardest part of leaving.
