Lawton-Taylor Academy

Lawton-Taylor is amazing! The staff is the best and will go above and beyond to ensure your kiddo feels safe and is taken care of. Angie and Mr. Michael are super compassionate and go out their way to ensure every family has their needs met. My son was in preschool plus- he loved his teachers and activities.

We have had the most positive experience at Lawton Taylor over the past two years — the teachers and directors truly care about the well-being of the kids and go above and beyond to ensure that their days are not only educational but fun (Halloween costume parades, Polar Express pajama movie day, splash days in the summer, and so much more). My kids are so excited to go to school and see what special festivities await for the day. Can’t say enough good things about LTA!

This school has been life-changing for our family. We've experienced three other programs (Bright Horizons, Rocky Mountain, and The Nest), and I can honestly say you won’t find better. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome. I know that might sound cheesy, but kids feel that kind of warmth. Mr. Mike and Angie you two are an absolute dream. Our son has been smitten with his Pre-K teacher since the day he met her. And this real-life Disney Princess of a teacher (shoutout to Ms. Sally!) has somehow managed to teach him to read at just four years old. He is happy, thriving, and fulfilled. It feels incredible to genuinely trust the people caring for your children. Our three-year-old, Arlo, has a whole crew of "shriends" she absolutely must see each day. She walks in proudly in her princess dress and runs straight to Mrs. Paije for the biggest hug. We are beyond impressed with this school and feel so lucky to have found it.

We don’t currently have a child attending LTA, but can speak to the tour and initial communication of the staff. My husband and I will be first time parents, and so we came to the scheduled tour with lots of questions and curiosities. Prior to even going on the tour, the center owner, Michelle, responded to my online form and scheduled me for a time of my choice that week. When we arrived, the Head of School, Michael, greeted us at the front desk and took us to sit down and understand our priorities first. He then spent the next 1.5 hours answering all of our questions, sharing information helpful to new parents seeking childcare, and showing us the facilities. I have to assume most tours are not this long, but he gave us all the time we needed. As we toured the center, we could easily tell all of the families were well acquainted with the staff (it was pick-up time), and the teachers engaged with us as we visited their rooms. I even overheard a teacher enthusiastically telling a parent during pickup that she had pictures to share tomorrow regarding a milestone for the child. While there, we also met the other owner, Todd, and he shared he and his wife’s passion for the center and why they keep their prices affordable for their community. We had toured another well-known and elite childcare center earlier in the day and were blown away by LTA, truly. We signed up for their waitlist on the spot and are excited about the prospect of our first child attending the school.

Our child attended from three months to four years. We had great experience at LTA. Not a ton of turnover, most teachers were amazing, meals were great, no turnover in admin and they were all very helpful and engaged, and we enjoyed all the little extras like dress up days and holiday parades. I really appreciated how much they would work with our family to meet the needs of our child - both the admin and teachers. Highly recommend!
