Le Soleil French School for Children

Our son has been in the toddler program at Le Soleil for about a month and we could not be more pleased with our decision to enroll him. Thanks to the dedication and care of the school director and fabulous teachers, our son immediately felt safe, loved and welcome there. He's happy to go to "school" each day and always all smiles at pick-up. We especially love their daily adventures around the neighborhood and the thoughtful and engaging play-based learning activities. Add on the French immersion model, which is so impressive, and this school is truly tops! We love the daily pictures, updates and communication, knowing that our son is having a blast while learning. A special shout-out to teachers Cecile, Ibrahim, Linda and Immaculee who our son just loves and always wants to hug and blow kisses to before leaving each day.

Le Soleil is an amazing place, we feel so fortunate to have had our daughter in the program. She started at 7mo and the teachers are incredible. My daughter took a bit to get used to the environment and the staff met her every need and helped her grow the confidence to play independently at her rate. It's a big transition for the little ones and the onboarding plan, the updates and pictures through the Brightwheel app as well as the adaptability from the staff to meet every child's needs really made it a positive experience for everyone. Pascaline is the lead teacher for the infant room and she really cares and loves for the children as if they are her own. I can speak highly of all the teachers at the school, they are awesome and care greatly and deeply for all the children.

As both a parent and a teacher at Le Soleil French School for Children, my experience has been incredibly fulfilling and enriching for my family and me. It is one of the rare places where, as an immigrant, you feel embraced with genuine love and support. The parents of the children create a close-knit community, helping new families feel welcomed and included. They extended this kindness to my daughter, making her feel like part of the family, surrounded by love and friendship. Le Soleil is not only a nurturing environment for children, but also a place that fosters professional growth. The staff support one another in pushing their boundaries and striving for excellence. A special thank you to Jessica, Lorenzo, and Zaza for always encouraging your colleagues to reach new heights. I also want to acknowledge Cecile and Immaculee, two hardworking women who prove that age is just a number. Your dedication and the love you have for the children inspire everyone around you. The respect and value parents place on the teachers and their children is one of the key motivators that make teaching at Le Soleil so rewarding. It’s a place where every morning, I wake up excited to go to work, knowing the joy that awaits me. I can’t speak highly enough of our Director, Justin. His unwavering support for immigrants and his belief in our abilities is inspiring. He fosters an inclusive and welcoming environment that makes working here a true privilege. Le Soleil truly feels like home for both the children, staff and the families. Long live to Le Soleil French School for Children!

Le Soleil has become such a wonderful new extension of our community and we couldn’t recommend it enough. The school balances a well organized and professional approach to early childhood education, while also cultivating a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment. This is entirely a credit to the fabulous teachers and the excellent leadership. We were so impressed by the straightforward and thoughtful application and onboarding process that helped transition both our daughter and us into the community. Justin and Pascaline made us feel so welcome before we even set foot in the building. We have been amazed at how much our daughter has learned and developed since starting at Le Soleil. But, more importantly, it is so heartening to see how much she lights up each day when we arrive. Our daughter breaks into the biggest smile when she sees Mima, Didi, Juditte and Maladho Each morning. Mima and Didi in particular have provided such helpful Insight and guidance as we navigate sleep and eating transitions. All the teachers are so friendly, and seem to Genuinely know and care for each child regardless of which age group they spend the most time with. Cecile, Linda and Rose give sweet hellos whenever we see them, and it’s clear our daughter feels so comfortable and happy with each of them, as well. I feel such incredible peace of mind each day knowing she is at Le Soleil!

We love the teachers, environment, and community engagement that Le Soleil provides. Our daughter is so well cared for, and the attention to detail in terms of her eating, playing, and sleeping are so comforting when we drop her off every day! The infant room has so many world class care givers — Pascaline, Bolinda, D’Rachet, Géraldine, and Maladho are warm, comforting, and so helpful. As a working mom, these women have made this transition so easy.
