Hi! We live in Carle Place, and our daughter started attending in May 2021 when she was just 4 months old. She’s now 4.5 and will be starting pre-K there next year. She can count to 100, knows her ABCs, and can write some simple words—but honestly, that’s the easy part. What truly stands out is the exceptional leadership and teachers. Based on what we’ve heard from other families whose children attend other preschools, our experience has been uniquely positive. The staff makes our daughter feel safe, fosters a warm, family-like environment, and brings both kids and parents together. They celebrate every holiday thoughtfully and, most importantly, consistently do the right thing—even in the most challenging moments. We truly hope every family gets to have the same experience we’ve had.

Stop looking for daycares! This is THE ONE. My 3 kids go to L&P Carle place with big smiles on their faces every single morning. The staff and directory team are incredibly nice, understanding, helpful and reliable. It truly feels like a family. My kids are in newborn, toddler and pre-k, and in all rooms the teachers are just WOW. Not to mention the administrators and director, who are always there to listen and help with the most positive attitude and kindness. L&P has helped my family grow and thrive for the past 3 years, and I am beyond grateful.

When I was first looking for a new daycare it was rough since almost everyone had a long waiting list and limited availability. Learn & Play then came recommended by several people that I knew and they were able to take us right away and it has been great ever since. The directors are very nice and informative on everything that goes on within the facility and open to hearing any concerns that you may have. Several of the teachers have really stood out to us since we have been attending and have been very hands on with learning and development and we could not be more pleased. Could not imagine sending my daughter anywhere else.

My family is so blessed to have found such a caring, attentive child care center. As a new mom it was hard to find a child care center to meet my expectations to be able to send my 18month old son to, but learn and play of carl place has made me and my family feel comfortable and gave my son the support for him to grow and get the socialization he needed. We have the best supportive teachers and caregivers in his class as well as attentive and interactive program coordinator and front desk staff. They never made me feel like a burden checking in frequently and always are a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend Daniela and her team enough!
